The poem:
DAY BREAKS
As day breaks along with your heart
you know its time for a fresh start
A new beginning to reclaim yourself
to shelf the past and try to not dwell
on the paths once promised that never were seen
an immersion in water will make the aura clean
tune into nature step by step walk the ground
life is ever changing inner peace resounds
thoughts and feelings come and go
like the fluidity of moving water
your souls wisdom seeks to grow
A walk among tall trees
footsteps with others speak humbly
to the commonalities
of the human experience
known when to take action
knowing when to not be so serious
The trees will still grow
and so will you
the patchy clouds part
so the sun can peak through
Remember you’re not alone
there are always others
to join you on your earth walk
to call your soul sisters and brothers
Nature knows balance
in calm following a storm
the broken heart hears a calling
to heal and feel its own warmth
when you can’t find your calm
when you think you’ve lost love

Interesting tree. Does it naturally grow down?
I believe so. There is an interesting history of it. In 1989 someone poisoned it to kill it and if memory serves 2/3 of it did die. Google it if you have interest. It was humbling to stand near.

I have recently discovered your forums, and listening to you describe child abuse from experience, rather than as an expert researched is profound. I'm much older than you, and still struggle with my twisted development, and I recognize the power you speak of when you talk of kindness, compassion and the need for developing minds to have positives reinforced until the child learns that they deserve hoesty, love and support. As I said, I'm new to your page, but I hope you are getting the opportunity to not only speak to the children, but to make potential prents aare of how critical their role is in raising children properly.
