      Sorry to hear that you had a hard time. You're right, this binding method is suitable for thin and soft ribbons. If you use a thick wired ribbon, I recommend a simple binding such as cross or just horizontal way. If you use a wired ribbon, you can easily tie 4 loops bow, like in this video (this ribbon is quite wide, but any width would be fine). Thanks for watching! 🌸 czcams.com/video/yWQeGzt4JfE/video.html

      Hi! Thank you for the question. Pulling on the bottom side of both loops should tighten them. However, this may not work if the loop is twisted.
