Solo hiking the highest peak of Taiwan (Kraig Adams style)
Early December 2019 I hiked the highest mountain of Taiwan : Yushan or also called Jade mountain. The peak at 3952m (12,966ft), took me 22hours in total for 24km walk with 1800m of gain in elevation.

Last summer, I have been travelling across the Lofoten Islands in Norway. This short travel film combined with the amazing music piece of Marcus Warner resume my experience and feelings of the Nordic adventure. Also, I had to say that marcus warner's music is the leading point of this video and inspired me a lot to get the shots I wanted ! Please go check out this artist which is simply incredi...

Shot on Mavic Pro (be gentle please it's the first time I was piloting a drone^^). Music - Gandalf Falls (LOTR Soundtrack). Music credit belong to Howard Shore and The Lord Of The Rings movies.

Hi everyone ! This video is my first real film project and I am glad to start sharing my passion with one of the country I like the most : Japan ! I will try to make similar films like this one in the future through the new project I've thinking called 'Rendez-vous'. - Rendez-vous - is a new series introducing cities or countries through short films I make. Since I'm a beginner I hope to make b...
Hi Anthony. I love this video. Whenever I have a longing for Norway or my daughter Jill, I watch your video. It is just great. Thank you for this. LG Peter Kruithoff
It was actually because of this video why I started making travel videos. This video has a special place in my heart :) Great lens. Had its run on my a6300 and just sold both off due to Covid 19. Thanks Anthony (took a bit of inspiration from this for my videos)
OMG Really beautiful movie. I subscribe to the Channel. Good luck! I'm rooting for you.
Hey Anthony we love your Videos. Would be great to hike with you together. Greetings from Switzerland =)
Nice work :D I need to play around with speed ramps, yours are done very tastefully
Anthony, you're vids are absolutely great... Great job and have a lot of fun in Taiwan.
This is the best video I found about the Sony 35mm f1.8 OSS as a filming lens! I think this will be my only filming lens for the future, because I've been to Japan a few times and you did such a good job capturing the scenes with a focal length of 35mm on an apsc. Very brave and cathartic to climb Mt. Fuji with this minimal equipment. :)
Hello mcmosaic ! I agree with you that if you wish to be light and travel easy bringing just one lens is key. However I might after two years (making of this video) recommend more the use of a 16mm-35mm. I lack a lot of wide frames in this video ! I bought the Sigma 16mm E-mount and it is doing fantastically well and I would use it more often than the 35mm I guess. (on apsc it would equal to a 24mm FF) So having one lens 16-35mm would be the right choice but indeed you lose in portability and it is heavier/bigger ! Cheers and thank you for your comment ;)
Legend !
What is that font? 'JAPAN'
It is a font named "Dulcelin". I downloaded on a freefonts website :)
0:18 Beautiful shot. I’m a beginner with the a6300 + 35mm. I hope I can get half as decent as this for traveling during the summer
Glad to know I‘m not the only one who thinks likewise! it actually looks like the spiritual home of Lord of the rings..
Well, this deserves so much more views. Amazing work!
Veejot thank you so much ! Don’t hesitate to share if you feel so ;)
You are bigger than your channel... keep working on that.good luck☺

Hi did you use a variable ND filter on the lens?
I didn't unfortunately..I bought my camera in Japan and made that short film right after !
Great mate all shot in 4k?
Yes I believe so if I remember well :)
Tolkien based most of the mythology, language and culture on ancient Norse mythology, so it would kind of make sense. Beautiful shots, by the way.
Good Job mannnn ;) really
MARCO PINI thank you Mann ! About to finish a big project hope you will see it as well :)
Did you use the stabilizer, taking that video?
Not at all as you might have noticed ^^ all "handheld" captured !
@@anthonygermann3563 its awesome!!!
Amazing, great work :-)
Nature and Drone video Petr Podroužek thank you very much !
Great video! What would you say is your favorite scene?
For me it would be the multiple images when the boys play field hockey...it's one of my best memory ! However in terms of filming I would say the day to night tokyo timelapse. I spent hours to get that one and the result is just incredible ! what's yours ?
Anthony Germann My favorite shots start at 2:30, but I do love that moment you captured during the field hockey match. I thought the whole video was a wonderful example of how versatile this lens is. I think I know what to save my money for! Thanks again for the video.
bcm2578 exactly ! Plus having only one prime lens really pushed me to film certain scenes a certain way because it would have been completely different if I had a whole kit of lens waiting in my bag. Anyway thank you very much for that little discussing I really appreciated !
great video!May i ask what picture profile you use to shoot these footages?slog2?
Kabun sorry I forgot to answer you...it was in Cine 4 actually but the picture profiles settings was not yet clear for me.
Cool shots!
Fort Anthony! Du talent
First lol
Ojha hey ! merci pour le feedback !! Ça fait plaisir faudra qu’on collab un jour :D pour le moment comme tu dis : let’s get work done !!
Anthony, congratulations my friend. This is top notch. I have re-watched this video many times. I have the same camera/lens set up and that's what brought me to your channel. But making a video like yours takes a lot of skill and great eye. You have an amazing talent. Keep them coming.
Thank you very much Carlos !! I'm trying to do my best that's all haha new video coming next Monday on Venise I hope you will like it as much as this one ;) Thanks again for the support !!
Awesome! I can't wait! :)
may i ask, does it have a quick autofocusing when taking video?
Amazingly well done . Love this creation, I'm subscribing . Cheers!
Nas Rash thank you ! It means a lot for me this is my first step in to filmmaking I appreciate the support :)
you are welcome man :)
Superbe! 👏
Trop beauuu ! Bravo ;)
Good job Anthony, keep hustling brother !
Mr Doolittle thanks :) sure I will !
Belles images! La Sony doit faire plaisir :D
Edo Cozzani Merci !
