Makes more sense for the crust of the earth to have a sort of honey comb system of caves running throughout certain regions, especially when you take continental drift into account. It makes no sense for the earth to be hollow entirely, it would need a iron core to produce the magnetic field around our planet and a constant recycling of crust material by lava.
