En 2022, on a un autre regard et ce programme a beaucoup vieilli ... Il ne suffit pas de porter une robe de petite fille pour interpréter avec finesse cette musique poignante mais pauvrement chorégraphiée sauf le très beau premier porté. Reste le superbe patinage des jeunes Tessa et Scott. Et il est vrai que ce programme avait au moins un grand mérite. Il contrastait totalement avec la vulgarité esthetique de l'époque, ce qui explique son succès.
Shows how views can differ between us all. After all these years I still admire this program for its choreography and their interpretation and performance.
To each, one's own. Most of us find the choreography brilliant and the interpretation on point with theme of the movie.

This is such a strong and complicated OD. The foot work, the complex handholds, the dancing, the side by side non touch step sequence… wow
I love this dance. Artistry is presented so beautifully. Lifts never miss a beat, step sequences R technically perfect, use of entire rink with such speed, unlike all the others. Eye contact and physical touch is perfect.
The music was so good, and they danced it so well

Scott, in their youth has always shown that certain passion that just grew in every presentation they did, Tessa on the other hand started with such innocence and grace that compliments Scott’s more fiery persona. That changed as they grew older and wiser and better. Tessa can now match Scott’s hotness on the floor but still retain that certain sweetness she naturally has. I am so addicted to this two! I hope there’s a DVD compilation of all their dances throughout their career.

Awesome that ten years later, Mirai had TWO triple axels ratified in international competition!
Great Music composition and costume! That Flip did cost her. But her lines improved a lot she looks fabulous. Very graceful skater, love this program .

The first time I saw this was by fate... I woke up one Sunday afternoon and turned on the television. Caught this routine and it bought tears to my eyes. From that moment on I havfe3 been in love with these two. I cheered for them at the last two Olympics-and I'm an American! =)
Danille Kahle and Chris Stoute was born on the exact same day!!
This program is really a masterpiece, terribly difficult to act and to skate, especially at such a young age. But they did it in a magnificent way, with the right style and temper. I think that if they had skated this way at 2008's Worlds in Goteborg, whitout that little mistake during the twizzles, they would have won the gold medal instead of the silver one.Any way, fantastic as ever.
I love marai,... but why would she try a triple axel if almost all her jumps are always downgraded in COMPETIONS

This is a really good style for her. Great pick of music, costume and choreography. After seeing her more later stuff--carmen program in 2008, I think this is where she really shines. With classical stuff, her personality doesn't really come out. Seeing her in Ice Diaries, I always thought of her as an edgy skater. And although I do think that skaters should explore all different styles and music, this suits her personality real well. Awesome stuff!
