a lot of the hinges I see available, including the ones you linked are designed for vertical beds, what is the difference with the vertical hinge? could you use the vertical hinge horizontally?

Sheeze ... just looked these up - he said approx $45 per pk of doors ... same doors now (3 years later) are $94 .... all the more reason to get your skills in order. Great explanation on how to do this!

I realize this video is four years old, but I saw you have an electrical outlet behind the dishwasher. If you are in California, that is against code along with being a hazard.

Great video do you recall the height of your opening. I am using the exact same ones. My opening was 80 inches. But they did not quite fit …to tight. So I am going to cut the bottom by 3/4 of an inch.

Hey Phil, they do make 6 inch dust collection wall plates (usually for dryer vents) that I used along with a small length of 6" diameter hose to attach the bottom of my super dust deputy to the cannister below.

To improve the vacuum at the miter saw you should add 1 or 2 more suction hoses to the miter saw. This will create a similar volume to your hard pipe as well as improve dust collection at the miter saw.

I believe you installed the air gap incorrectly. Inlet from dishwasher goes in the center of air gap and the angled hose attachment goes to the garbage disposal..

I live in Canada where there is a lot of fluctuation between hot and cold so there would be too much expanding & contracting in those wood strips. When you searched out materials did you come across a good wood-looking PVC alternative?

Enjoyed watching all 3 parts of this build and your presentation, music, narrative, on-the-fly adjustments and all. I plan on trying my luck to make one of these and so glad I watched this to learn about the spring mechanism and leg support package you used. I'll probably use the same thing and put on some wheels like you did (a smart and very practical addition!) - I'm guessing that it might be easier (for me, anyway) to make the bed part first before cutting and assembling the outer unit (upright frame & storage cabinets) to hopefully eliminate a need to shave off anything with a router. I'm sure I'll mess up somethings along the way and can only hope I find solutions to fix things and make adjustments as easily as you did. Thanks for sharing this video. You inspired me.
