      @@Mange.. spelling. It hasn’t been standardized yet so people will spell it differently (oono, oonuh, unnuh, unnu, unu) but it still means “you guys” or “you all” when you’re addressing 2 or more people directly.

    This is called rhethorical exclamation." The exclamation sign really shows the difference when written. 1. Him nuh gone vs Him nuh gone! (Different) 2. Di nuh box him vs Di man nuh box him! (Different) 3. Ain't nobody mi trust like she vs Ain't nobody mi nuh trust like she! [Same sentence] And also, "nuh" is used in place of "please " Gi mi some food nuh! "Give me some food please " Subscribe da channel yah nuh! " Subscribe this channel please] So the "nuh" exclamation is spoken in high pitch intonation. Hope I've tried.

    Thanks for all your resources. It would be cool if you could talk about exclusively Jamaican words, so words that are not used in English, or Jamaican idioms and expressions that may have recognizable English words in them but whose meaning cannot be known by those words alone. Something like the short you did on bawl but with more words, expressions, etc. If u like this suggestion, u could maybe go about it thematically. So, food expressions, work, music, nature, etc. Just an idea. Either way, thanks a lot for all the vids you’ve made already, I’m going thru them atm. Much appreciation!

      @@user-zb9tt7mo3t Fall under “State of being” so no “is/are/am” necessary. The room is dirty = Di room dutty. The socks are white = Di socks dem white (Even though socks already plural…wi still add dem for grouping)
