I love the idea of going to a hotel with a caldera view, but most of them seem to have a hundred steps or more to negotiate either going to your room or the pool. Are there any you'd recommend with less steps. Another thing would be a swimming pool that was not too cold - but that may not be possible. We're thinking of going in October. Thanks in advance.

Are the cabs 🚕 inexpensive in Paros? I was thinking about staying by the Golden Beach and just taking a taxi 🚕 to get to places.

Nice, just booked first 5 nights in city rights at the center of Vatican and Colosseum etc.. It's hostel since I'm going to be out all day anyways. On other hand I'm planning last two days to be on nicer place on coast or some beautiful location outside the center to wind down after probably walking everywhere for almost a week ;D

Can you purchase a water taxi ticket at any of the beaches that it visits? We are coming from the port June 16, Do you have a recommendation on which beach we should start at? We'd like to stop at a few.

Last year, 2023, we went to hike Skaros Rock and afterwards decided to hike Imerovigli to OIa. Wow! So fantastic, we met such nice people along the hike. We did at end of May and was still quite warm.

Is there a reason why Fira to Oia seems to be the most popular as we plan to go Oia to Fira. We were thinking of driving from Kamari to Fira and parking hire car. Then catching bus to Oia and basically walking back to car

Some more signage would be good. Oia to Fira made a wrong turn after the snack shack and ended up on the side of a very unstable cliff. We climbed upwards and scaled a stone wall emerging on the C-Sky hotel pool deck. The guests thought we had lost our minds...Great hike. Great memories!

Born and raised in outer London. My advice if you want to save money is stay just outside, end of the underground. For example stay at the Travelodge in Morden. 10 minute walk to the station and then 15 minutes on the tube and you can be in central London or go anywhere from there 👍🏼

Good production, although, the pronunciation of places cannot even be excused by you being an English speaker, this coming from a Norwegian. All you had to do was read the words for it to be excused, but you even missed entire letters of the names, and in some, you added letters that were not even there. Secondly, the recommendations of hotels etc. is ludicrous, unless this is specifically a channel targeting wealthy people. Then again, the name of the channel is "Santorini.." which explains why you might think the prices of these accommodations were excusable. Insane. By the footage also, it seems you were very lucky on your visits, as you mentioned the wind factor absolutely zero times. How one can mention Falassarna, or the north eastern places like Agios Nikolaos, Elounda and Vai, and not once mention the CRAZY amounts of wind, is mind baffling. For Agios Nikolaos and Elounda, good luck eating outside without having all your stuff blown off the table (for the majority of days), and for Falassarna and Vai, most days you will EAT SAND. Whenever you don't, is an exception. These places are also robbing people when it comes to pricing of sun chairs, umbrellas and food. Lived in Crete a bit over five years now, and I cannot believe the presentation of these places.

I just went to Monterey CA and they have a shop and I was amazed by how much these cost from $150 for a 2-inch lizard and $700 for a jaguar head , beautiful pieces and now I understand why they cost so much , hopefully these people are getting paid for their work.

we just did the hike on Wednesday! it was fabulous! our hotel apartment was actually under the trail... a little north of Imerovigli.

we were just there a couple weeks ago and we couldn’t believe all the poop and toilet paper at four minutes in. Why doesn’t the city government of Santorini call a stop to that? all it would take is one person to patrol it and all the tourists of the entire world wouldn’t have to experience that crap.

I feel like if you were being fully honest at four minutes in, you would have called that poop trail.
