Oh that is such a cool spot the real shiny method! A bunch of alt and tweaked shinies! Got 2 wrong. My memory of shiny Magmortar poisoned my baby shiny recall, and I don't know the last time I looked at any GSC shiny sprites.

Brooo wtf why is Keckleon sprite SO DARK in gen 3!!! The lizard is so light green in all the other pokemon games I thought you were trying to make the shiny chameleon slightly more interesting!!! Also how I could not know about Sableye one of my favorite of all time :O

Could've done something evil with combusken's gen 8 shiny, which for some reason went all the way back to its gen 3 coloration. Most people aren't aware of that.

I've been looking at shiny Pokemon a lot the past week, so I feel like this quiz came out at the perfect time for me. Here are my guesses for each round. 1. C: Blaziken is one of those underwhelming Pokemon like Pikachu or Gengar where the shiny has little to no difference. 2. B: Kyogre follows the trend that a lot of blue Pokemon do. They typically either become green or pink, and Kyogre does the latter. 3. C: Snorunt is one of my favorite shiny Pokemon. I remember at one point in time having a fake Snorunt card that had a shiny on it. Good times. 4. B: Shiny Gardevoir is my all time favorite Pokemon. I'd better be able to recognize what it looks like. That bright blue is iconic in my mind. 5. B: Swalot doesn't change too much, but I mostly got it from knowing the other 3. I actually caught a shiny Gulpin in Pokemon Sleep yesterday, so that and Swalot were pretty fresh in my mind. 6. D: I'll be honest, I had no idea why it was wrong, but I knew I had a 50/50 shot between Lunatone and Solrock, and Solrock just looked more correct to me. 7. A. I was a bit hesitant at first, but something about it just felt off to me. Maybe the slight blue hints in the yellow tipped me off? 8. D: This one was easy for me. No clue what the real shiny looked like, but I knew the other 3 were real. 9. A: Same reasoning as the previous question. I just knew the other 3 were right. 10: B: My gut told me it was Vibrava, but I really didn't know why until seeing the comparison. This one almost got me though. The sprite ones are MUCH harder in my opinion. 11: A: I'll be honest, this was just luck. I thought shiny Relicanth just wasn't blue. I didn't even notice the red spot was missing. 12: A: I thought that the nose was going to be a giveaway, but I was just wrong. These questions have REALLY ramped up. 13: A: I had no idea the Gen 3 shiny was that color, but I just saw the eyes and thought they were too bright and a bit too much on the green side. 14: 4: I knew for a fact that 7, 6, 5, 3, and 2 were wrong, 8 just didn't feel right for some reason, and 1 ALMOST got me. It was kind of dumb luck though. I didn't guess 1 because I thought Grovyle had a leaf in its mouth when it didn't. Hey, doesn't matter how I got there, I was still right in the end. Final score of 13/14? I'll take it. The sprites and the ones with just the TINIEST of details changed were insane, but it was really fun honestly. Great quiz.

Lunatone tripped me up because I knew it had blue eyes, Vibrava caught me off guard because i was so focused on Spoink (could have sworn something was off with it, missed the VERY obvious answer 😂) and Seedot is so close to its original that I was confident it was either that or Whiscash, so I'm at least glad that whiscash was my second pick haha

the only reason i got sableye is cuz its my fav mon of all time, and i know for a fact that its eyes are more like diamonds than yellowish... his skin is defo more gold than bronze tho, at least in sc/vi. awesome quiz tho!!

No way sableye was fake in #13, it literally looks like that in newer games, also I've never noticed that delcatty had this weird dot on her forehead in gen 3 💀

Which page or program do you use to change the shiny's colors?

Charizard is objectively wrong for Gen-1 also, because it can only run off of Gen-2 colourations, which was unique to that era (purple/green).
