Growing up always wanted to have property and I always thought having something like 40 acres would be out of my reach and then one day we bought 40 acres with a house and, shop and pond in Missouri. I thought that would be a lot of land. After I started looking around it I realized it really wasn't that big. 40 acres is only roughly 1/4 of a mile by 1/4 of a mile. I was used to hunting thousands and thousands of acres in the mountains of Northern California and the hills of Southern California. I never did have that great of hunting on my property because a couple neighbors had too many dogs running on it and I didn't want to kill their dogs. We finally got tired of all that nonsense from the neighbors and sold the place and moved. Good luck hunting have fun. That's what it's all about.
