What a great interview!!! I could listen to Joe talk 24-7 😊😊😊😊😊
I would love to see Patton and Cantrell collab.
I cannot believe I just found this! Cannot wait to listen to this and UltraBomb!!
Brilliant. I love Exene and John. Great music and such.
I love you exene
47... Sure
😮
Plume is still my benchmark for guitar solos.
Who's Robert? 🤔 Smith? Regards Robert
Exene was the only perso I wrote when I was in the NAVY... well, I wrote Elecktra and they gave the letter unexpectedly to Exene... she wrote me back... I wrote her back and she replied and that was it... I still enjoy X.
There's just too much demand for tremonti to go around. The music industry just can't get enough of him!
By the wav❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you both for this. Good stuff! And congrats on your 85th day! 🎉 I’m a first-time listener, but I pumped my fist in the air and teared up at your overcoming. Praying for you and roaring rooting for you. Keep going! Enjoyed listening. Good questions, well-spoken, economy of words, calm, natural, engaging. Good soundtrack to my morning. Cheers!
I love hearing insights into Dan's thinking. Thank you.
What's the netflix doc they mentioned?
You can reinvent yourself, but the magic is what happened between the four people, the celebrations, frustrations, highs, lows and all the dynamics in the band at that time.
Corgan and Iha completely complement each other and that’s what makes SP so uniquely special…. 🎸🎸
Hell yeah
Exene!! Nice to see you're.....well......not dead.
Billy is so eloquent and well-spoken. It's always a pleasure to listen to him. Great interview. Thank you.
😑 "Promosm"
Ojalá Dios me escuche. Te amo MARK TREMONTI 💕💕💕
Billy Corgan can reinvention himself into a podcaster.. Very articulate
it will be difficult to find a replacement for Jeff... I've seen a lot of videos that people took for SP's audition... sorry, I don't think any guy I've seen is suitable to replace Jeff...
You should not kiss ass.
I think the biggest issue is for whatever reason the music from 2000 on has just not been good. Siamese Dream 2.0 or Cyr, or whatever it's just not good. There has not been one song that holds up to even a b side from 1990-2000. Regardless of the genre, soundscape, etc. I hope he has some gems left to come but seems like all his time is spent thinking and pondering on what would be the next big thing instead of just making good music.
Oceania is art, it's beautiful
Oceania is an incredible album. Cyr is post return of Iha so not sure what you are talking about.
There’s a banger or 2 on each album from the 2000s. Tarantula, The Celestials , Quasar , Drum + Fife…..
I cannot wait to see NOFX in Montreal for the last time. Some of my best memories of my life are to the soundtrack of NOFX. I got their tattoo on my arm when I was 16 (24 years ago) because I thought I may not listen to punk or NOFX when I was older but I still love them just as much as I did then.
That’s awesome. You’ll have the best time. 👍🏻
this gave me hope... my life has been stagnant for years... maybe someone from somewhere will come along to make the necessary changes like Mr. Rick and Mr. Iha did for him... I love Billy, what a great artist...wish him the best...
sorry but that is probably a very bad takeaway to hope for someone to fix your life for you, make the changes you wanna see man, I believe in you
Fantastic interview. Thank you.

Very Interesting & Awesome Conversation Here Matt, with Billy Corgan…. 🎙🖤🤍🎙❤️🎶🤍🤓🎨🥫🙌
It's a great interview and talk with one of the most important artists of this generation. Exene is a powerhouse..Always .
Thank you. And yes, she most certainly is.
ALWAYS KNOW JERRY YOU ARE SO SO LOVED MORE WAYS THEN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE IF YOU EVER WANNA DO ÞHE PHILKY ROAD TRIP IM ALWAYS HERE ITS NEVER TOO LATE TO TAKE A LONG OVERDUE BŔEAK OR A VACATION. NEVER SAY NEVER thats a good song title. Ttul LañeyBabyzdoesknow♡♡❤❤
To your point yes it absolutely OK to make music for this 45 year old right here brother!
Nice interview! Such a rad lady, that Karina! ❤
Mark is a great guy!
He sure is!!
It’s a fact UB40s early music is absolutely amazing..
I always upvote the slackers. Vic is a phenomenal song writer.
Sucks that Jeff is now gone from the band
16:10 i believe WPC is misremembering. The 2015 in plainsong tour was him, Jeff and Katie Cole, and it was actually the summer "End Times" tour with Marilyn Manson that saw the return of Chamberlin. He then returned for the 2016 version of the Plainsong tour which is when Iha made his first appearance back IIRC
You’re exactly right cause I was there. I actually was at the pumpkins acoustic show in Chicago where iha played with corgan for the first time since the breakup. Cadillac palace I believe.
Oceania is still my favorite post reunion SP album. Unless you count Ogilala! Atum is a step in the right direction, look forward to the next one which is supposedly more pure rock
Mark is such a truly awesome dude!!!
One of the best!!
Great interview with a great guy! Very inspiring!
He’s the best, right?!
I love ❤️ that my favorite band Creed is tour and together in 2024🔥🔥🔥🤟🤟🤟❤️🙌🙌🙌🙌Got my tickets 🎟️ for the Ohio show and they continue to tour after! Going to see how many Creed shows I can go to! So happy they’re back!!!!
I have no idea why AlterBridge isn’t huge in North America!? Great songs, great lyrics, great vocals, and great guitars! What’s not to like!? I guess they just arrived a decade too late, and pop/hip hop/country are kings of the media landscape there now… I’m glad Europe embraced them, so they could continue touring and making albums, so us fans around the world can enjoy their epic music!💪🎸🤘
I think you make a valid point, it’s all about pop, hip-hop and country music in the States these days. Rock just can’t compete with those markets. Alter Bridge are absolutely awesome though, you’re right about that. 😊
🎤💖🙌🌸🙂🎸
I just hope Jaz got some kick backs for Alan Moore's killing joke joker and that joker movie because he was literally the source material for it
Jaz is amazing he has walked the edge of the elite for over 40 years the people he knows and the stuff he knows are so vast and deep its amazing. Been listening to KJ since the early 90s when I was in middle school.. Love every album KJ has ever made. I too have followed some of the schools he has but the Crowley stuff is a bit too much but to get light you must go dark as well. Between KJ the Xfiles Manly Hall and Steiner I got my base in all things esoteric. Now I am in my early 40s and have a very respectable knowledge base and library haha and always learning more. I can thank Killing Joke for that head start when I was 12 haha. I wish he knew how much that band did for me. Having never met these guys is one of my saddest regrets but I am just a low born pleb scraping by in this world.
"fallen on their own petard" is a sopranos level malapropism, bravo corginator
