I brought a balenciaga metallic edge city when it initially came out ~ it was very durable but … I didn’t enjoy it as much because it’s quite heavy compared to my other older balenciaga bags that I had so I ended up just selling it ~

How has this held up with strap attached to that area ? I just bought a vintage classic for an an amazing price and wanted to to this method or the d ring method. I have seen mixed reviews. Some say it will damage the bag. Others say they have worn it just fine and not much damage.

Actually the hardware is of a dull gold, compared to that of the lock..that’s how mine was, when I received it, though I wish the hardware was the same bright gold finish as the lock. Very strange!

Gorgeous green, looks very regal and elegant actually! Glad I came across your video before purchasing. I was also deciding on the black but it sold out now on Bloomingdales where I have points, so I'll get the green. Thanks to you!:) Also don't like the closure, they could have done a magnetic instead. Will convert and use mine as crossbody. Although extremely durable, I personally find the feel of the YSL grain de poudre leather quite synthetic like compared to other leathers. But I guess durability, low maintenance and the design make up for that.
