    Based on this video, Change Managers will require permission setting of Problem User to be able to work the Known Error tickets. However, what does the Change Manager/Change Coordinator do if the Change Request requires a Problem Investigation to be generated? Do they reassign the Change to the Problem Coordinator to evaluate or create a Problem Investigation ticket? I would assume the PBI would be generated because it saves time rather than having to run through emails to track down the Problem Coordinator. Not stated here but something to think about.

      Thanks for the feedback. Any user can create a problem ticket if they have the right permissions. People who fulfill multiple roles within an organization need multiple permissions. Please refer to this document for Smart IT roles and permissions: docs.bmc.com/docs/smartit213/smart-it-roles-and-permissions-1024037997.html#SmartITrolesandpermissions-basicaccessrequirements.

    I guess the old Solutions option is no longer considered with Problem Management of the past? This was confusing back then as to one creating a Solution ticket when the issue was resolved and would never occur again. Did not see Solution here, thus assuming a Knowledge Article would be generated instead.

      You can use the Problem Solution template to create a knowledge article to document a resolution for a problem after identifying the root cause during a problem investigation. You can create a KA from PKE, or you can relate an existing KA to PKE.     Unfortunately, I do not agree with having the Group Coordinator of the Incident contact the Problem Coordinator to determine if a Problem Investigation is required. If a problem investigation is needed, then the Group Coordinator should generate the Problem Investigation ticket, and allow the Problem Coordinator from that point determine if the investigation is necessary or not. Just a faster means and less chatter to get the ticket out on the street and root cause corrected.

      Thanks for the feedback. Multiple processes can trigger problem investigations. For example, a service desk specialist can create one if they think an underlying problem caused an incident request. This overview video provides a high-level explanation of the process. For an in-depth understanding of the process, please refer to the link in the description.

    A couple of points / questions: - Step #4 = the variable value is missing the 'accent' (`) or 'quote marks' / 'apostrophe' (')? - so should it be like: var notetype = `$304427491$`; - Step #5 = from our environment (21.3) the string is line #162 but it we have an additiona variable named 'peopleText' in the line of code. - so what we see is: messageText = peopleText + valField_0 + ' ' + addedNoteStr + '</br>' + generateLinkForURL(valField_1) - The BMC documentation does not have the 'peopleText' variable included. It would be good if BMC clarifies the procedure.

    I wish AI is used more on technical videos so that we can easily understand what was said instead of us getting headaches trying to figure out what the foreign voice in the video is trying to say. Many foreigners with their thick accents and bad grammar should really consider using AI to explain the subject matter in their videos so that viewers don't get confused and frustrated.

    Can we combine workflows of separate request for Add, Change, Delete and then add it as one request to bundle?

      Hello @OwN3d1n1, Thank you for your comment! The bundle in our system is designed to encompass multiple services. Each of these services can independently possess its own workflows. Furthermore, our system provides flexibility within the bundle configuration. You have the option to utilize the individual workflows associated with each service, or alternatively, you can opt for a unified workflow that applies to the entire bundle.     Hi, let Say I need to execute a AWS GLUE job on an windows agent , and my EM and Server are on Linux. Then where I need to install Node.js and CLI . (I saw the comment below to have node.js where we need to run AAPI CLI) but I am not clear on this is it where we need to configure on agent one ?my EM and CTM are with 9.21 and I checked on EM , CLI is installed but not node.js Kindly elaborate it here

      We still receive comments on our older videos that the audio quality on real people is hard to understand. Although the computerized narration is not as lively, at least it can be understood.
