2x SO2R working SPDX SOAB SSB and EA RTTY SOAB
I arranged the station so that I could operate 2x SO2R since I would be doing both contests on all bands. Those who saw the photo on my FB might have thought I was indeed crazy: I've used many monitors before, but 7 monitors of 27 inches seemed excessive, though it actually isn't. Here, each operating position has two monitors where the DXLog goes along with the antenna selectors and controllers, rotors, amplifier, and everything else one usually has on screens. Fortunately, here we don't have any kind of manual controls; everything we need to see and control is on the screen, so all I had to do was to arrange the monitors vertically so it would be comfortable for me and not end up with a 5-meter row of screens 🙂 I actually got rid of one of the usually 8 for four radios!
It was a true challenge and brain training, but it helped me stay awake and entertained given the low number of QSOs. 10 meters was once again a real disappointment, and in the rest of the bands, the conditions were acceptable but nothing remarkable.
The truth is, this time I wasn't seeking any specific result, just to do something different and fun, which would also help me analyze the station's behavior, interaction between bands or within the same band, especially while using four radios at once with all possible antenna systems, even with Milen LZ5DB/KC1TEK participating for some hours in the SPDX but in CW from one of the other radios remotely. We not missed anything!!

A few minutes in Single CQ (Monitor ON) and Dual CQ (Monitor OFF) on the last ARRL DX Phone 2021. Sorry for the poor video quality in the first half, and for not being able to record in stereo so that you can hear exactly as I heard on my headphones. This was my very first SOAB and SO2R experience, so there is still a lot to do to improve. A wonderful and unforgettable experience with a surpris...

A pesar de haber andando por calles y caminos aledaños muy transitados, con muchos cruces y rotondas, demasiado pude acelerar y me di un gusto enorme arriba de esta F430.

Great Video Manu. I have ben trying understand SO2R before I attempt it. Still a little nervous to try it especially with two hot bands.... Any suggestions to have a good flow?
Congratulations Manu!! 73 PP5NZ
Realy a big gun!
Hola manu te mande la solicitud del Dx del 1 junio del 2023 73, muy bonitas antenas es cierto lo q dijiste por radio q tienes unas antenaß bn altas.
Now I really have antenna envy!
Damn!
I know everyone is commenting on the antennas but I also want to commend the drone op. I have been flying since the P4 came out and I'd be concerned about hitting something up there. Especially while being "wowed" by the antenna farm! 73 - KC1OCA
Thank you for your words! I had some flight experience as I had a P4 a few years ago. Now I bought a Mini Pro 3 and received it the same day that I filmed this video. I was very surprised by the capacity of this little one! Thanks again!
Damn! That is some serious 2-way communication gear! I bet it can talk just about anywhere in the world! I was into CB and HAM radio decades ago! CQ!
What's the name of this song?
Amazing ! JF9JTS
I wonder if that setup works as well as my K4KIO Hex Beam at 15 feet....LOL 73, W8ASA
Beats my Alpha Delta DX-EE in the attic. But, on the bright side, I can grab my Rigexpert and tune my antenna in the middle of a snow storm wearing shorts and not get cold. :-)
Outstanding!
Beautiful metal sculptures! 73 KL2A
