Well made video. I studied in DGH and went to kalimpong after 35 years. I was disappointed at the dirt and filth around and couldn't find the kalimpong of my childhood. However I enjoyed the momo. Forgot to get into larks shop.

I had a childhood friend from Kalimpong. We went to a boarding school in Mirik. We separated after 4th grade. I always think about her and miss her. I wish I could meet her again. One day i will definitely visit Kalimpong. ❤

Can't add value to your video (and therefore I should shut up!). Spent several years in the late 50s passing through the town - initially by train (and stopping for lunch once at the railway station) and then mostly by road. Spent one summer for TWO MONTHS at the summer bungalow (again, don't want to drop names but it was a famous place then and probably something else now). Consider the town to be idyllic for an enjoyable extended vacation. Thanks for bringing back the memories. Let us hope the town continues to proper in the best possible way. Your efforts are enviable.

Don't u feel that PPL would convert their religion from buddism to Christianity by seeing their culture in christianity.like in kerela they make church like Hindu temple because so that those Hindus will relate there culture n will be easier to influence them to Christianity...soft conversion

I've had the pleasure of driving through this route From Jaigaon (Bhutan border) via Siliguri to KTM a few years back when I got my first car i was only 25 , I did this road trip with my younger brother and mom i gotta say that was one of the best experiences of my life as a car enthusiast and a long distance drive lover. Its absolutely amazing how gracefully you have been able to capture the essence of the beauty of this entire road route like poetry. It definitely made me feel nostalgic and travel to KTM via this beautiful country roads again. Thankyou
