Thank you. (Sometimes less is more...) EDIT/UPDATE: Sometimes more is more, too. Was changing out the heater core in a LHD XC70 (without the recommended pedal and column disassembly) and this switch was the most critical step. I'm an experienced hobbyist mechanic, but I definitely would have broken the thing without this knowledge, and I have zero time to hunt one down at a wreckers if I had. Thanks again!

How about the way to lower the headrest on the middle seat in 2nd row ? So far one wsy i am thinking of is metal saw or big metal cutters.

Watched this and a few others... today I removed the curtains and glass, lubed tge rails, adjusted the glass position and cleared the drainage -- good service for another while, and no leaks. I did use some 3M silicone grease lightly around the glass edge seal, which smoothed the noise from its angled lifting out of/into the roof cavity. This is about as far as I think one can go without pulling the headliner. Just be careful, take it slow, don't drop the glass ok thanks!

Thanks so much for this video. I needed to replace the HU-650 unit on my 07 XC70, I could not have done it without the the attention to detail in your video. Yours si one of the few YT videos that makes the important distinction betweent the 01-04 and 05-07 carrs, which requre different disassembly procedures. If I could suggest any improvements, it would be as follows: 1. Rleleasing the green electrical connector block for the climate control module (CCM) is almost impossible due ti the cramped location of the release tab. I managed to do it using a pick with a 90-degree tip. After diasassembly I could see there is an easier way. Disconnect all the other electrical connectors, you will have enough slack to manouvre the entire assembly to unscrew the 4 screws that hold the CCM, pop the CCM out a bit and you have easy access to the connector block release tab. 2. At the end of your video you mention it is possible to remove the front facia trim of the HU-650 unit, but you do not describe how to do that.. In my case, the erplacement HU-650 uint had a broken tab at the bottom of the facia trim panel. I wanted to swap the fascia trim panels. I unscrewed the two obvious side screws, but that was not enough. In the end, I bailed due to uncertainty as to how much disassembly was required to do the swap. I installed the HU-650 as-is with the broken tab, it seems to be holding fine. It would have been helpful to me to know how to remove the fascia trim from the radio unit.

Please mention that this can only be possible in the cars without the turbo. In turbo Volvos there is a check valve that won't allow any boost enter the brake booster. It can hiss at idle or when you press the brake pedal but not at boost

Great video! It worked perfectly for replacing the left signal bulb on the XC70, even without having to remove the connector.

How much wheeping from the pulley shaft is too much? On the used pump I installed, it is wheeping onto the inner part of the pulley. Should I just use this pump until it fails like the last one?
