This was fun. We’ve just come off Marella Explorer and this brought back so many happy memories. It was our first time with Marella and we’ll be back!!! Ah we never managed to get into Surf and Turf, it looks amazing. You itinerary looks great, those caves are amazing. The show team work hard don’t they. Good port tips. Dubrovnik it an amazing city. We love your energy. Great Vlog. (Don’t talk to us about huge queues in Corfu airport!!) - we had a nightmare home! Cheers 🍻

Great video, you packed so much in, very helpful. We've booked our first ever Marella Cruise for March.. Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy Ravenna. It's the mosaic capital of the world and the 8 buildings are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tickets are 12.50€ for the 5 sites and are valid for 7 days. We had a pre-cruise stay there and had a wonderful time. The public bus from the town to the port was 2€.

Loved that, thanks for bringing back memories. We did that cruise last October and loved it, we actually docked in Kotor though so no tender needed. Check out Paul and Carol love to travel too, they do great cruise vlogs xx

Top notch video and many thanks for the post, my wife and i went on Explorer last year and didnt enjoy it at all as we had been on the Discovery ships and Explorer2 and had a great time but you have shown us how to get the best out of Explorer so many thanks.

You've really packed a lot into this video Karen. We really enjoy people filming their cruise or holiday experience rather than try to hard to make a perfectly polished bloggers vlog (that's a complement by the way) although actually yours is nicely filmed and edited also. We would totally recommend the first time cruiser to watch your video.

Quite possibly the first Marella cruise embarkation day video we've watched where the first scene is a visit to the pub 🍺🍷😆 To be fair, that really doesn't make you a funny kind of grownup.....but we did love your reaction to being out in the open sea.

I can’t thank you enough for this video, I’m at a size 12/14/16(on my legs) and am going on a trip with my school after alevels and have been so stressed and worried as it feels all the more scary going with people from my school rather then my family. I carry most of my weight in my thighs and so seeing that most of the restraints are over the head/ on your stomach really put me at ease. Thank you so much !!!

thank you for this!! im only 17 and am a size 22-24 as well, carrying most of my weight on my stomach and im going to Alton towers this weekend with some friends. i was so scared that I might not fit on the rides, but this has put my mind at ease a bit. most reviews I have seen are very contradictory, one person will say they managed to get on everything fine and someone else will say they left the park crying because they weren’t allowed on anything. I’m hoping that this is because of different staff members not being as patient as others, and not attempting to push the bars down/ or offering a larger seat and not because they genuinely couldn’t fit. again, thanks for this video. you’ve made me feel a bit more confident going now.
