Six-String Soldiers is a five-member acoustic group performing Country, Americana, and bluegrass music. The group was formed in 2015 by active-duty soldiers who were looking for ways to fulfill the Army's commitment to those who have served and those still serving.

Wildwood Flower | Six-String Soldiers
Enjoy this soothing instrumental rendition of “Wildwood Flower,” a tune originally made famous by the Carter Family recording in 1928. The musicians are skilled and I love the harp, it helps the song retain the swampy, menacing blues feeling of the original Creedence version. The increased tempo makes the song a little more "pop-y", certainly more danceable😏

Just think. It was WW2 Vets that spread this music all over the world. Australia, The Phillipines, New Zealand, Canada. All of their subsequent music reflected this. Be proud of your heritage, this is beautiful and pure.
