I'd look for those pinch and saddle points where its deep on 2 sides and shallow on 2 sides. These are huge concentration points. Also don't be scared to fish the open water down the middle but keep your bait high in the water column and go fast. like 5 mph +

Seemed like it here. Depends on the year and area tho. A lot of the fish in the types of area we were fishing don't move all that far even as summer comes around. Maybe the next visit back we can find some big girls

@kainowak the girth made it seem huge .... until we put it on the board. Dirty beat up resident fish though

@kevinwaalker always good to see small ones for health of fishery. Maybe on next visit we see if it's a nursery or there's some bigs around

Cold water, no reviving needed, all fish were full of energy and swam off quick. Unless you're talking about the finger there was no reviving that

For spinnerbaits typically nothing as we use big heavy ones (ace baits monster), for the buck tails just candian tire Danielson cannon ball sinkers in 1 Oz. Helps act as weed guard and keeps them down for trolling at 5mph+

We have Prorex, Lexa, & Komodo. No issues with any but the Lexa has a scream to it. The piscifun alijoz are surprising good quality for $100 also so even if it only lasts one season you can do it 3 or 4 times compared to price of the others. I would just make sure you get a high gear ratio to pull up the slack quick.

With the heavier baits cause if deep water and wind there isn't much hang time. Most of bites in this area come when bait is on bottom as well so not worried about the hang time so much here. As we wait once it's on bottom. 3/8 to 1/2 Oz jigjeads
