A Spiritual man's yardstick is Christ

Also, angels as explained in Hebrews (ministering spirits) and taking from what Paul said in one of his letters to the Corinthians or Galatians that "even if an angel were to preach to you a different Jesus or gospel, do not listen" would also need to be tested...the question will be, what is the role of angels?

On the question side, perhaps not directly from the teaching but somehow can be linked... when Jesus was speaking to Peter in the book of Matthew, the famous "get thee behind me Satan" when Peter rejected that Jesus must die on the cross. Question is, was it Satan who spoke through Peter? If yes, was Peter possessed or can ungodly spirits influence people even if they are not possessed by them?

Also out of curiosity, why is the babtizer at Pentecost (Jesus) and after Pentecost (Holy Spirit) different given that both happen after the resurrection?

Beautiful teaching on baptism giving believers a better understanding of the scriptures...I was intrigued by 10+ baptisms in the scriptures. I looked around and I found a few in an "article" by a gentleman called David Schrock...summarised as follows...Like Noah’s ark, Jesus’s cross will become a refuge for all who seek rest in him. Like Moses’s staff( crossing Red Sea), Jesus will be lifted up, so as to deliver his people from impending death. Like the priests in the Jordan, Jesus will insert himself into the stream of God’s wrath. (Joshua's crossing) Like Jonah, Jesus will volunteer himself to be swallowed in the earth, so that he might rise to save the nations.
