"As the Leaves Fall" by Fiona Brice (Bigo & Twigetti Records)
Written in Autumn and recorded at Vada Studios, Warwickshire with cellist Tony Woollard, this instrumental piece is a meditation on letting go. The rise and fall of the solo cello melody brings to mind a heart heavy with memories, yet the gentle ostinato of the piano suggests that it is time to move on.
