Although I think it's a great concept. Infrastructure is going to take a much longer period than 5 years. Most legislation has put the end of sale of gas powered vehicles at 2030. 7 years won't be enough time to have all our gas stations converted to EV and people who have bought gas powered vehicles in 2022 expect to still be driving them even 10 years from now. EV's will need to be more affordable to keep lower income families from driving their used older vehicles. Norway has made a great model for many countries wth 50 percent of the vehicles being EV, but their electricity cost is cheap and they have done so intenlty to supportr EV vehicles. 15 years seems to be a more acceptable prediction if you consider the world market.

The average life of a gas powered car in the US is 18 years. Some go a lot longer. They will be around for a very long time to come.

Great piece. Thanks. Minor gripe: "ninety kilowatt per hour battery" (at 2:38). No. Battery capacity is in kilowatt hours. 'kilowatt per hour' is meaningless because watts are already a rate measure.

I have a 2013 Tesla and was thinking of buying another #Tesla until I found out the trade in value and NO loyalty program. So guess what? I won’t be loyal.
