To be really officially "acoustic" the bass player needs to unplug and use an acoustic bass...A Mexican guitarron would be perfect and sound really good...Cool band..
Electric bass produces a much deeper and more resonating note, j much prefer electric bass for acoustic sessions, don't be fooled by the name, electric bass sounds more like good clean bass than an acoustic bass ever could.
