Hi, I'm Sumiko Stacey. I'm a Yoga Instructor and ADHD Life Coach. I have ADHD myself, so my Yoga videos are super ADHD friendly and to help with our ADHD symptoms.
Yoga challenge the balance and coordination which stimulate our brain and improve our executive functions.đ€©đ§ We will be matching our breath with our movements exploring a wide range of motions because the more we move our body, the better our brain functions. So we can focus better, reduce anxiety, motivate us to tackle our to do list, come out of rumination, and so much more!
We'll get moving straight away. No need to wait till you tidy your floor first because there are some classes you can do standing up. My videos range from 1 min to 1 hour, anything from gentle & calm to energetic to suit your mood. So let's jump in and give it a go. 1 min class is quick & easy to fit in. It's only 1 min, but the benefit of 1 min Yoga is massive! You'll feel a sense of accomplishment & positive emotions to move you forward!đ

Thank you so much!! I wanted 10 min meditation đ§ââïž but it seemed to be too much. I feel motivated and accomplished now!!
Great work!đ„łđ Positive emotions are so important for us. Have you try my moving meditation video?
never thought of that â€
I love this one because the movements help me focus and the sensation of the feet massage is so calming.đ
thank you for your work â€
this is what I need †itâs amazing how you understand what is needed for ADHD - when yoga is quick I can do ten quick videos, but when I see ONE 20min long video iâm not even gonna click on that đ
Exactly! I feel the same way. Also, I need to get moving straightaway after clicking the video, so the I tried has to be short.đ
thank you!â€

Hope you are well. I know you have a nice CZcams channel. Your channel content is very good. I have been following your channel for several days but there are various problems in your channel videos. I highlighted the problems of your channel video: * No SEO on video ** SEO Score, 0/100 * No End screens ** No Channel tags

Thank you! I really like these little reminders to take a break and move during the day.
Iâm so happy to hear that!đđ
This is a great one to help me not to go to the Body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs) when I try to concentrate.
The challenge is to keep your arms straight while you are doing shoulder press up like an elevator. So many things to focus on at the same time, like keep lifting our belly button up to support our lower back, maintaining our torso solid while we go up & down, we keep breathing AND check your arms to see if they are straight!đ We will be too busy checking all our body parts to stay stuck in our head. That's the bonus!đ„ł
this felt great love your channel
Thank you!!! I'm so happy to hear that it did help.đ
So helpful , i love your videos so much! These routines feel so good and i love that theyre short.
I'm so happy to hear your lovely feedback! It really means so much to me.đ„ł

Thank you so so much for your lovely comment! I'm over the moon to hear that you find my videos helpful.đđ
Yay! 4000 views!đ„ł Well done everyone.đ
This made me laugh so hard because I ALWAYS forget the timer. Thank you so much! â€
đI'm so happy to hear that. Things we can do for a perfectly cooked pizza.đđđ
That's a nice tip. Using the nervous energy so that the body release stress. Thanks. đ
Thank you so much for your comment and I'm so glad you like it!đ
I most definitely agree with your suggestion The only thing I would add is to do it barefoot outside so that you may also be grounded by Mother Earth đ under your feet, we are surrounded by so much energy ⥠with WiFi 4g 5g Bluetooth & EMF microwaves & even static & electricity too, even the wrong people and wrong vibrations/frequencies can build up to Toxic levels in & on our bodies so Naturally Grounding ourselves to with the Earth's Natural Frequency will Enhance your healing potential & Remove all Negative Energy & Harmful Frequencies & Vibrations That Clog the Flow of Healthy Healing Energies That Will Restore The Natural Ballance, Observe, Comprehend & Copy Nature! âïž â„ïž đ đŽó §ó ąó łó Łó Žó ż đ đ đïž âŸïž đ đȘ đ đ
Thank you for your comment. When it's sunnier & warmer here in UK, I'll try to make some videos then.đ

Great idea! I'll put that on my lists. Thank you!đ€©
im so glad i found your channel! i enjoy your videos :) the only thing i would say to improve is to make the sound of your videos louder in editing, because i have to turn up my volume to the max when watching your videos <3
Thank you so much for your feedback! I really appreciate it. Yes, I'll try to find out how to do that.đ
Hi, could you make a clear ears massage video with detailed and more variety of ears massage methods (such as folding or pulling)? Would you also tell us little bit about ears acupressure points?
Thank you for your feedback.đ Yes, I can do that next.đ

Do you have any suggestions for yoga at school or at a job when youâre at a desk?
Yes, there is one video I made recently, Chair Yoga for ADHD, but I would love to make some more!đ Are you looking for something like secret moves when sitting still is expected or for a quick break? Also, what's the age group if you are looking for something for kids?đ
I was going to ask the same question! Would love some secret moves for sure, and maybe helpful ways to stand, like hip or feet placement
@@YogaforADHD thank u so much for responding! Iâm a college student so i was asking for myself, Iâll definitely make sure to check that one out.

Thank you for watching & liking the first version of this. In a true ADHD manner, I forgot that I had a video that I prefer (because I didn't make any mistakes), after I have already publish one.... since I couldn't just change the video, I had to delete the last one and uploaded this instead...đ
Make sure you have a clear space in front of you when you hop, just in case you come to the handstand accidentally and your legs doesn't come back down. You can tuck your chin and forward roll out of it safely. đ

@@YogaforADHD your welcome! i just found your channel and i love it so much. i have ADHD and find other yoga videos very hard to follow, but yours are my favorite that i have ever found. i even found myself moving to other poses, then turns out your tutorial says to do that next. so awesome!! hope to see you make more :)

Quick and easy yoga sesh, thank you! About to start my work day at home.

I totally understand the "consistently inconsistent" thing. I was diagnosed with ADHD a few months ago at 33 years old. I found your channel shortly after. I love to stretch and exercise, but could never sit through an instructional video. Your "1 min Yoga for ADHD" video helped me get into the swing of things, thank you! There's no need to apologize! It's okay to get wrapped up in life. Be sure to take care of yourself! That will help you achieve your goals.
Thank you so much Holli for your kind comment.đ It really means so much to me and I was able to film one video!!! It's a quick yoga, so it's easy to fit in even while you are doing other stuff like waiting for your favourite drink to brew. I hope you like it.đ
@@YogaforADHD đ You're welcome! That's awesome, keep celebrating that success. One video takes a lot of work. I'll definitely check it out!
Thank you!đ€©đ
a perfect channel for people with adhd! it is nice to know even 1 minute is enough when you don't have the energy to motivate yourself to move.
Exactly! Even better, it's more than enough because you overcame the hurdle of starting and put it into action, done it, completed it, accomplished it, so I'm sooooo proud of you and sooooo happy for you! And you made me sooooo happy, so thank you!!!đ€©đđ
thank you! this was fun to follow along đ„°
Thank you soooooo much! It really means so much to me.đ
Balance is the reason why I wear Xero And Vivobarefoot shoes. No cushioning makes it easier to keep my body balanced. A balanced body means less body pains and less body pains means a happy ADHD brain. :)
I like this one. Feels v good after this yoga. Xx
