We bought the regular white blinds 5 years ago but never had a reason to lift the blinds up. Now when I tried to lift them they wont stay up. What are we doing wrong?

Unless that's some advanced technology I think the correct term is hidden tilt rods. Their visible just not currently in sight. (hidden)

How is that bulky top not motorized. There are def better more narrow top parts that aren't so bulky.
