It was remarkable, how much that place has grown over the last two weeks

Just got back from this hotel and booked again for September. The hotel is in a really good location for bars, beach etc

went a few yrs back-wasnt over keen on site-but location and caravan was spot on-although we picked silver-it was lovely caravan so reckon it got upgraded to gold as it had all around decking

Really great to see this place from above as I can pick out other old building connected to the Minster, I have a great interest in these types of building and have videoed many in the past but not this place. From a photography point of view I could spend all day just on the Minster. Nice one👍👍

Good video. I was in there last night for probably my 20th urban explore. Security nearly seen me, went past me 3 times in their Qashqai. This was around 10pm. I do wonder if their Security has improved. I'm intrigued what is on the Ultimate land. I'll find out.

Hi is there a space outside the airport to pack a lunch and take my small children to watch planes take off. My 2 year old would absolutely love it and think a small airport is probably the best bet.

Its great to see the demolition site from above as it helps a lot with my research on the town and helps me build up a better picture of the surrounding area. Its also great as ive noticed a few older building in this area that ive missed when looking around at street level. 👍👍

I am curious because I am from Gran Canaria, and my question is why you call it Las Palmas... When the Airport is in two municipalities far from Las Palmas Capital... Here older people call it Las Palmas Airport because it was the only one Eastern Province Airport. But we young people call it Gran Canaria Airport because it is in Gran Canaria or Gando Airport on the Gando Peninsula, which is where the Airport is actually located. I have never understood why tourists call everything from Gran Canaria Las Palmas, no matter how bad those of us from Gran Canaria feel. It's like Holland and the Netherlands seem the same but they are not the same. The same thing happens here. 🤔

Hello Andrew. In my younger years before any responsibilities I used to Travel the UK Rail network extensively. Now' I am unable to do this like I once did. Darlington is a Great Railway Station however, this area of the UK was heavily neglected for many years. Now with Rail investment and such a number of areas are being rejuvenated and that makes me Happy indeed. I flew from Teesside airport to Faro (Portugal) in June 2002 for my honeymoon. It was a little busier back then! Easyjet use it as a training base these days. You can often see their new pilots doing touch and goes and circuits around the airport.

Is that Teeside Airport, the Netherlands? 🤣

Let's face it, even Ryanair don't want to call it Durham Airport and move there.

Teeside Airport symbolises the problem with the UK in that it has facilities and space, but yet nobody wants to go there. Everybody, whether they be native or immigrant, want to cram into London and then spill out into the surrounding SE, or what is today in reality the Greater London area. Why is that? In the SE such an airport would have failed commercially and would subsequently been built over with houses, offices, shops etc.

Growing up in Teesside, I remember when it was an air force base and going to an open day. Then there was the growth as a commercial airport followed by the decline. Hopefully it is on the upward slope again.

Darlington railway station everything is going to be moved to the outside of the station like passenger services . Inside the station will be like a disused railway shed , I think it’s sad and not fair because the railway shed will be disused .

I’m very sad this is happening very sad. That they are going to lose three platforms from the front and being moved to the back end of the station. And knocking a bit of the roof down to put a footbridge there. It took the Victorians a long time to build it my way would have been better it would have been to keep the three old platforms and open another two at the back. Put a subway underneath like they did in the Victorians did. Darlington station is a lovely station. IT’s Victorian let’s keep it Victorian.

I was born and brought up round there over 70 years ago, what a dump, its definitely gone down the pan. And whoever thought those street lights on the High Street were a good idea, should be sectioned. Dreadful.
