Thanks for the video, i found myself smiling a little each time the small pointing hand appeared out of nowhere.

such a good looking deck 👍🏻
Nice video. Any on belt changes? Thank you
@chylogurti hi , and thank you ! On this deck I didn't change any belts as it works satisfactory, if a buyer wanted that done , I'd be happy to do , that for a fee , to change belts on it .I have however fixed the issue with the pinch roller and there is a separate video on that .
Good day to you sir I was given the bottom part/amplifier shown in your video Is it possible to use this with other different brands I truly appreciate the old school systems and any feedback regarding this issue I have will be great full
Hi , yes it can be used with other brand components , that interconnect through RCA leads .So just about anything.
You don't have a "Tape Monitor" option? if you did, turning it on (with the same hookup) would apply the EQ settings on all of the outputs - am i right?
Hooked up like this , I couldn't tape monitor , without a tape monitor button on the amplifier.
@@vidtech2630 but it will only EQ the tape, right?
@@davidleeashkenazi8992 correct
@@vidtech2630 Thank you!! :) great video!
@davidleeashkenazi8992 Thank you for watching.
Oh my god, this was at salvos near flinders? I bought it today its sitting on my desk (passed up on the speakers due to space constraints and their peeling veneer). They dropped it down to $30 because the lady at the desk said $50 was overpriced for something with the yellow tag. Its in need of some electrical work, it makes a constant hissing through the speakers when powered on.
@@steelblue8 That's the one !
does it have an aux in?
Hi , if it's not in the video, I can't remember exactly.
Dear vedtech. The the sharp hk 9000 was made between 1984-1986. Gr Gertie van Campen ❤
Thank you for the information, and thanks for watching !
Where can one get ahold of one of those test tapes?
Try DUPLICATION. CA , ANALOGUE MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES INC , in Canada.
I have a 2001 (4he1 4.8L) and a 2006 (4hk1 5.2L) Isuzu NPR. My 01 has a 2 year old Isuzu genuine alternator and the 06 has an aftermarket one. Do you know if a 2001 alternator will fit the 2006? I look at pictures and they are VERY similar but I’m not 100% sure. I want to put the Isuzu branded on the 2006. Thanks!
Hi , don't know if the two, would be interchangeable. Even in it looks like it might, they may have different electrical plugs/conectors.
so, you're connecting an eq to an Integrated amp. I need to learn how to connect eq to actual "component" system .. preamp & amp.
Hi. In that case, you might want to look at this video : HOW TO CONNECT EQUALISER TO AMP WITH PRE-AMP INPUTS.
Alternatively this video also onthis chanel shows how to hook up a whole system: : HOW TO CONNECT VINTAGE COMPONENT HI-FI
Nice 👍🏻

Hi 🖐 That's a nice deck, looks like she was made by Panasonic.
Hi 👋 Thanks for sharing that bit of info.

Dude, rad score ! Silver faceplate, made in Japan , analog coolness ! Looking forward to a vid when she's hooked up to some speakers and a turntable. Nice !! 😎👍
Thanks ! Unfortunately I didn't buy it , if it was for sale alone instead of a non matching kit , I'd be interested.
Nice score on the SA 90, one of my favs. That and Maxell XLII 90's. 😎👍
@ralphreinhardt6020 Thanks! ! Agree , equivalent MAXELL are more reare, just as good if not better , possibly more durable . As many of my old SF , SA and SA-X , ended up with railroading on the tapes.
This equipment can play the 200 CDs sequentially, one after the other, or is it only for storage?
Yes , you could program it to play all CD in a row or selected CDs .
Nice 👍🏻
Thanks !
that convinced me about the w&f using the homemade retainer ;-)
Thanks , and that's still running the original capstan / flywheel belt , I will replace that in the future.
@@vidtech2630 dont discard the old belt , i am finding loads of high W&F issues with new (too tight) belts
@cassettedeckandwalkmanre-mw1hy That's true.
the old q-tip seems to work better on capstan and pinchroller ?
@@cassettedeck-walkman-repair Agree in most cases you can do a better job manually with q tips. Especially when the pad is no longer 100% clean . But for car stereos , it would be a time saver.
doesnt that green 'retainer clip' you made add any w&f ?
@@cassettedeck-walkman-repair no white would it ? It does the same job as the retainer that was there .
@@vidtech2630 just wondering , if its doesnt its a viable solution !
@cassettedeckandwalkmanre-mw1hy I was concerned about that too . Ive spent a bit of time making sure it will work as intended, and I was lucky to have suitable plastic, too. I've used very slippery plastic, or it might even be vinil, it's from emergency exit sign , insert. And it's very slippery. At first I tried plastic from a PET bottle, but I wasn't happy with that.
@cassettedeckandwalkmanre-mw1hy I have recorded some piano music on this deck and than recorded a video which is ready to watch now . With the playback of the piano music as you may know W&F becomes most apparent with piano music . You're wellcome to check it out.
@@vidtech2630 i did ;-)
good effort , i always find it frustrating when you know whats wrong but just cant get the parts corrected to fix it
@@cassettedeck-walkman-repair Thanks.

👍 cool ... and probably easier than finding original globes .
What's the app you use on your phone during the recording?
I'm going to say , try a few ,and see what apps , do it for you and your needs .
@@vidtech2630 I’m not even sure what do I find. Is it some type of frequency analyzer?Would you mind giving the direction toward your personal preferences?
Ohh , that's called SPECTROID, it's a free app in the app store. I misunderstood the question.
Hi there, right back at ya ! First to view and first to give a thumbs up !😂😂😂

Hi ! 🖐
HI there, right back at ya ! 🙂👍
I NEVER SEEN A IDIOT DOING A VIDEO LIKE YOU DID
I no longer have this amp ,or the speakers. Some of your observations may be correct, however, on the right, both lights on , means , stereo + loudnes ON. . The light on the left is source indicator , in this instance, source was, tape from the boombox.
? The 1st 2x buttons at 0:03 appear depressed to thus have both lights lit, same as the depressed tape selector with it's light on. ? Please tell me that you didn't know why you have both the 1st 2x buttons depressed, as what you have selected are for (both) "mode & loudness" to be set for MONO, meaning your output is extirely mono, not stereo. Plus by placing BOTH towers so close to each other, also means your "collective" sound output, is a guaranteed MONO. Thus whatever you were attempting to "show" with your close-up video, means absolutely nothing, as any of th speakers MAY have not been performing, however these being so close to the other tower's speakers, there is absolutely no way to determine if any speaker was faulty. A "SOUND TEST" can only be performed if you DO NOT have the towers so close to each other, nor can you get a "correct" sound image from a fluctuating "taped song/tune" as there is nothing to base any similarity or difference upon. Also - you can ONLY get a comparitively average TEST by setting ALL of the frequency boosters to ZERO, whereas we hear a crapload of tweeter sounds because you have all the upper frequencies boosted to the max, and the midrange at the least boost of all. In other words, this is NOT a test, but a complete Fyuio4k up.
I think you can try a little more level to prevent hiss, maybe it's sounds good at +2! anyway interesting video
It would take +2 , without issues.
