Your structure is 16 bytes because the most big element in the structure is double which is 8 bytes. And compiler will do "Memory alignment" so the structure size will be multiple of 8. And the next multiple of 8 from 12 is 16.

when a user uses your app do they have to use their own API key? Because in my app that uses an external API it doesn't load data for the users on their devices and only on mine and i believe its because the API key is exclusive to my ip
