@@HikingWithShawn I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Yes, you can still use a portable stove like a pocket rocket. They are allowed because they don’t have the same environmental impact as open fires. Didn’t bring any stove, I was cold soaking my food (coucous for about 7-8 min and added tuna for more proteins)

There were definitely more hikers than shown, especially in the more popular sections, but I tried to focus on capturing the solitude of the trail when possible. I saw many northbound hikers coming my way. They share a good portion of the same path, it overlaps with the PCT for about 160 miles. Haha, the CZcams algorithm can be a mystery sometimes, you post videos more regularly compare to me, it must help!

Thank you, glad for liked it. Biggest day was about 27 miles but an average of 19 miles / day for 11 days of hiking, didn’t have plenty of time to hike it.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. I had originally planned to do it in 7 days, but that dry 20 mile section pushed me to go a little faster. Overall, I was impressed by the bigness of the place. The views from the passes are truly incredible, and there's nothing better than walking past an alpine lake while peaks tower overhead. It’s one of the best solitude hiking experience I’ve ever had.

I tried snowmobile once in a flat place with no views, I can't even imagine what it must be like in that area when it's full of snow, must be just epic!

Thank you Seth! A short 107 miles hike, but physically harder than I thought, maybe I’m getting older. That hailstorm/rain lasted for hours, a good time to rest in the tent.

Ce fut une expérience unique et incroyable, un endroit moin populaire que d’autre randonnée, pratiquement personne excepté cette nature presque pure. Mais une randonnée qui a été plus difficile physiquement qu’anticipée, élévation et poids de la nourriture.

I wish I could give you the exact location, the only thing i remember it’s just before girl opening her arms at 2:28, on the right shore, you need to go sea level and search.

I’ve used the DJI mini pro 3 for this trail.

It's possible to fly your drone on the CT except in all wilderness areas, there also an app that tells you whether it's possible or not depending on where you are, called Aloft
