Used your video to replace the clip. Not as easy to slide the rod as in the video, but after a little struggling with sliding the rod, I was able to attach the new clip, slide the rod back, reattach the set screw, and the task was complete. Your video was very helpful.
Thank you. Only if it was that simple; however, my 1988 560SL has a lighted mirror in the visor and there is an electrical cord running into it, which wasn't addressed in the video.
