And if you have a situation where there is a person causing them to be scared they will send the burgular to the hospital before jail. They are awful guard dogs because they are not dogs and are destructive to the house. They also do not house break like a dog. I put a dog door into her kennel and she would use the kennel. They are escape artists and will go hunting and bring back what they kill lol. .

Bottom line and this proves it Stilwell is a dog nutter. She’s not a real experienced trainer she’s an actress who lied about her experience with dogs to get her tv part. She was a dog walker before nothing more. I actually like a lot of her older episodes from the British version she seemed much more open minded to balanced training back then. In the American version all she does is use food and I’m sorry but as a dog owner we don’t have treats on us 24/7 that’s ridiculous. I believe in positive reinforcement training myself. But I also believe in dominance as well. The other trainer was right it depends on each person and each different dog. Cause personalities are all different. I agree with Victoria that shock collars are cruel and unnecessary. But I don’t like how she villianizes prong collars. When i used a prong collar and so did my parents for our family dogs that pulled. And Victoria is dead wrong about them. Cause my yellow lab who we had from 05-2018 she grew to love that prong collar on her walks. She got so excited any time she heard it or saw it cause it meant she got to go for a walk and she grew to actually prefer the prong collar. So if a dog pulls a lot I think prong collars are very effective. I use food to motivate my dogs to teach them impulse control. I used it for the sit and lay and wait commands. Normal stuff like that is very effective. But I also will put them in timeout if they do something wrong like growl at each other, counter surf, get into trash etc and guess what I don’t have to constantly feed them food for the bad behavior to stop. I got them to stop jumping at our backdoor by corrections and timeouts not by effing treats. Her reaction to this just shows how full of herself she actually is. And how uneducated she actually is
