It looks so good! I’m glad I sold it to someone that’s so passionate about it!!!
@travismichaelcrypto Definitely the best car I have owned! Perfect all around beast for a daily.
Wheels are on point!🎉
@@Warrengr89 appreciate it 🙏
What exhaust are you going with?
@@Nelson-fm2xd Have to wait and see. Will be the first from said company 👀
Why send out your ecu for unlock? Are you post 6/2020 ?
@Slm266 No, I am pre. Just no local shops near me and don't want to buy the unlocker tool. I'm sending it out while on vacation so the downtime won't affect me.
Appreciate your time putting this together.
@Ferrari_M5 absolutely! Glad to help out!
Damn, I ran into the exact same shit like you did. Luckily I don't have the advanced cruise control sensor at the front for my m340 so just need to replace the lower front grille
Very very lucky then, just that front radar is $4,400. Just so insane man. This is the BMW way.
What’s the name of the goop you used as lubricant
You only need engine oil as a lubricant. I just have used that stuff for years, it is called transmission goo assembly lube.
Really appreciate the detailed video. Do you know what would happen if we accidentally move the clock spring when steering wheel is removed? I accidentally rotated mine back and forth when the wheel was off, and afterwards I noticed strange random vibrations in the steering wheel
It will not give you any vibration issues in the steering wheel. The clock spring would give you electrical issues. Only thing it can possibly do is maybe mess with the Lane keep vibrator motor and the steering wheel. I'd go back through and check everything to make sure it is fully tight and the vibration motor is fully seated and tightened down.
@@Mpostor thank you so much for your prompt & detailed reply. You are right, the intermittent vibration comes from the bottom left of the weekly exactly where the vibrator is
@alisaremi I would definitely look into that then for sure!
How did you replace the oil cooler?
Unfortunately, I was three hours from home, so it was towed to a dealership. However, very very simple to do yourself.
15:34 at this point pf time in video. You pull out green tab from one sensor. Which i believe is a touch sensor. And when you put the whole bit in new wheel, it looks like you removed that sensor. I see there is no green tab on new wheel thats why. I am having the same thing. Removing that, does that cause any issues ? And what is that sensor for actually ?
It is the steering wheel pressure sensor. So when the car fusses at you and tells you to put your hands back on the wheel. It is not on the new wheel and does not cause any issues whatsoever. Rock on!
Ahh ok thanks. And confirming can i remove that even with oem wheel ? I assume it will be ok ? Better it will not tell me to keep my hands on ? And confirming it does not affect any ariving assistant features ?
@savya01 If you remove it on the OEM wheel I'm sure it will have issues or throw an error. As far as installing the wheel I have. No codes, no errors, and no issues. Everything works perfectly as it did before.
Cool thanks. I did install the oem wheel without that. Current does not have any issues or errors so i assume its ok on that too. I had custom wheel before and that senspr got misplaced and i installed the oem back on as i am selling and it did not show any error or had any issues when i did not connect it as custom. So i assume all ok.
I’m trying to pop out my air bag. The left side was easy. I’m having such a difficult time popping out the right side of air bag. Was it easy for you?
The important thing is the angle that you are pushing the tool up, if it is not correct you cant do anything.
My apologies just saw this. When you pop out one side don't pull it out to much. The more you pull it out the more tension it puts on the other side. Just barely pop out one side and then go for the other side. Just have some light pulling pressure as you hit the second side and should come right out.
@@Mpostor thank you I will keep that in mind next attempt.
Center console does not come out that easy. The pins at the front are a pain in the a.ss to remove without breaking.
You have to be firm with it, but they do pop right out. I have removed it maybe 5 times and never almost broke anything. Then again, I also have a ton of experience with trim work as it used to be my job lol
@@Mpostori wanted to comment this detail for DIY guys, who will do it first time like i did the same thing for my car a few months ago. You just skip forward that part, but it was the hardest part in the whole process for me to remove it without breaking anything. My car is G20 Lci, maybe there is a difference in the tiny pins behind on the cup holder side, but i don’t think so.
@emre_murat Could be a difference but not sure since mine is Pre lci. I have a camera mount for next time doing work inside the car. Just tried to pre remove them so it was more fluid with recording with one hand.
Been eyeing that turner skid plate since I’ve gotten my M340. I don’t have ZTK so the oil cooler fitment shouldn’t be my concern. But mine is xDrive, the undercarriage looks vastly different than yours w/ RWD. I’m also your neighbour in the north; if I would have to ship it back to return it for improper fitment, that’d be a huge hassle… Been hearing stories about its fitment issue and that’s been holding me off to purchase it. Let alone the equipment, I’m not as skilled as you are with welding aluminum to fix their f up fitment😢
Without having the oil cooler, it should be very simple bolt on for you. Only thing is adding those two rivets and you should be golden!
Dang, I know somebody who could have made that skid cheaper!
Haha, I appreciate the help!😎
Great video! I am planning on doing my oil change soon, can you please drop the link for that exact car ramp?
Thank you! I believe these are just some rinho ramps I got from Walmart years ago. They work well for me as my driveway is angled up to my garage. Race ramps would be better for these lower cars.
Why go with the 5-30 vs the 0-20?? New M340i owner 👍🏻
It is a big debate, but the main two reasons are 0w20 is so thin it burns off. So some people have oil consumption issues, and switching to 5w30 will fix this. Second is your area and climate. Living in hot climates of course plays into the issue above. Make sure you join the M340i group on Facebook. You will find lots of discussions on this plus oil lab results from Blackstone. Actually showing less wear when using 5w30 vs the oem 0w20.
Great vid! I'm also kinda OCD myself. Not saying I can't trust shops out there, but I just trust myself more in certain senses lol. Something you may want to know tho - Molygen oil already has Ceratec additives inside of it; adding Ceratec while using Molygen may throw off the balance of the amount of Ceratec. Liqui Moly recommends using other lines of their oil (i.e. Top Tec) while using Ceratec. But it'll be fine using Molygen in between changes till the next time you need to "refresh" Ceratec.
I 100% agree with what you are saying. It's definitely nice knowing exactly what was done and how it was done. As for the Molygen and Ceratec, I am definitely going to look into that. Thank you for making me aware! Just got used to running it because the tuner for my RS sold it as part of an oil change kit, which used LM Molygen too.
I want one with a flat bottom, perforated leather on the sides and bottom alcantera on the top with carbon in the middle. I already have the kit to add the M1 M2 buttons and the wireless sender/receiver to connect the steering wheel to the mode buttons on the lower center console. Also have magnetic carbon paddles to install. Just installed the XHP transmission stage 2 transmission upgrade yesterday. Haven’t really driven far or played with it yet because I had to drive normally with my wife in the car.😅
Reach out to Infinite Autowerks. They take custom orders and can build you exactly what you want. Let me know your thoughts on the XHP, that is definitely on my list as well. So are the magnetic paddles later on.
Need me one 🔥🔥
It's definitely worth it, in my opinion! Being the main thing you touch in the car the most. Looks and feels amazing.
looks like a MST clone... or just relabled. anyway... it is a very good intake with a lot of sound. you have to hear that in person.
Yeah, video doesn't do it much justice at all. Will work on trying to get some better sound clips of it.
hey brother just confirming this diffuser fits on the 330i g20 as well?
Their website sates "2019+ G20 BMW 3 series sedan."
Looks really good. You inspired me to do this mod
It definitely makes the rear look so much better! A little added width and aggression for sure.
Dang the m3 steering wheel looks great
This is the stock wheel with the upgraded M buttons, carbon trim, and paddles. I do have a brand new steering wheel going on next!
I just had an exhaust installed from a shop that is mainly a body shop for BMWs. Many of the M340i with cf lips are broken. I almost don’t want to put a cf lip on.
What exhaust did you get, and what are your thoughts? The car just looks so good with the lip. Now that it is naked, it looks so bad lol.
Definitely a sub now , I don’t comment much on CZcams but man you made this look so easy , time for me to get one too!
Absolutely go for it! I am always here to help in any way. More videos are coming soon, just waiting to get my car back from the body shop. She has been gone over 3 weeks now💔
@@Mpostor damn brother what happened to the car, I’m looking to save some money on the side to get an exhaust looking to the AWE touring edition exhaust for my m340i
@b8botb83 Check out the end of the intake video before the sound clips. Thought about making a separate video on it. I hit a semi tire on the interstate, to my surprise, $10k in damages..
Great vid on installing a CAI! I'm retaining the factory intake box, with a high-flow filter and an aftermarket intake pipe. Still have to replace the plastic intake inlet down the road with perhaps an aluminium one. I'm not thrilled about taking off the CCV hose lol.
Just take your time, good pair of pliers help just dont squeeze to hard. Once that time comes you will be fine!
Love these videos, you're awesome bro. Keep it up
I appreciate that, thank you!

So if you make it longer it will be good
Edit is great but the length is too slow
I agree, was just a template for something quick!
I forwarded it to see the walk around and you don’t do it. Terrible production. Sorry not sorry
Coming as a separate video. Unfortunately car is at the body shop due to hitting a semi tire on the interstate. Destroyed front carbon lip and whole bumper, just waiting to get it back.
Man I think I’m going to run an eBay special (gloss black) for the lip. They break more often then any other part so in my opinion it’s better to just get a disposable one
Not going to lie, that was my thought and plan at first. Never had a lot of carbon goodies before and I got it on a big sale so figured why not. However, I have already busted this one as you'll see on the intake video I will post this weekend🙃
Great tutorial man! You just earned another sub. Looking forward to mine now and watching this gave me a boost of confidence to DIY with my tools
I appreciate the support man! I am here to help if you have any questions at any point on any project!
Nice man dropped a sub, down to support anyone pushing out more G20 content to the platform! I might upload some stuff but im already half way done with my mods haha
You should for sure man! Would like to see the car and what you have done! I have a full air intake video dropping this weekend, has a little bit of bad news at the end but stay tuned for it. Appreciate the support!
what spoiler you running man? looks dope!

Is your car lowerd?
Nope all stock. Will be doing lowing springs in the future.
you are the GOAT for doing these step by step man.
I appreciate it man! I plan to do this with all my installs. Carbon front lip video drops this Sunday. I'm also working on a full air intake video now👀
Keep it up man!!! You never know
Question brother, i didn't see a place to add the carbon insert on the diffuser. I want the same look you have and wanted to make sure it comes with the carbon insert, did you call them and ask for that or does it just come with it. Also i plan to get the carbon quad tips from them as well. Is that what you have?
Yes it was a drop down option on the site when I ordered. Slight modification is required as it does not just clip in, I think they were reworking it to perfect it. Absolutely reach out to them via phone or email and they will get you fixed up! Their customer service is top-notch! Yes, these are the 3.7 inch tips. Really want the 4inch ones now since they fit this diffuser.
Thanks bro car looks good
@paulcross2100 Thanks man, I really appreciate it 🙏
It has been proven that carbon fiber adds at least 80 horsepower to any build. 😂
If it is per piece, then I am making some serious power at this point.
@@Mpostor you are definitely making them gains one CF piece at a time.
What size exhaust tips do you have? I have the 4” from Infinite autowerks but I don’t know if they fit with the diffuser you have.
These are 3.7"
@@MpostorNice, I have the 4” ones but I don’t think they will fit with that diffuser.
@@M3FortiZay yes they do! I confirmed that with Infinite Autowerks.
You’re the man! Liked the video, appreciate your help!

Infinite autoworks fitment looks great. I just purchased my 4 inch exhaust tips from there. Just like yours
I have the 3.7 inch, but I really want to get the 4" now after these mods. All of IAW parts have been amazing!
I gotta get my hands on some canards as well definitely a nice touch !
A quick little touch that really helps the back end of these cars!
Glad you like the quality of the pieces! It is hard to portray the quality in pictures to potential customers! Once you have it in hand, the pre preg (dry) carbon will sell itself! Enjoy!
It is honestly a work of art all on its own. Fantastic parts guys!
