My favorite airline to fly the the 757 was AA formerly US Airways. The US Airways 757 was the first Boeing aircraft I ever flew in and it was bigger than any plane I’d flown before. AA’s 757 was the last plane I flew in before being diagnosed with cancer so I’ll always a special place in my heart for the 757 that no other plane can occupy! 😔

It's a darn shame that AA retired their 757s so early!

That was anything but a hard landing! It was actually quite smooth. Yeah, they brought nose down quite quickly, but only because it appeared they were in a crosswind and wanted to get the nose down so they can focus on keeping the plane straight. And yeah, the tires may have smoked, but that doesn't mean it was hard by any factor at all.

I am an Aviation NUT!!! first off Look at the 1st 747 coming into Newark, a 200 ton piece of metal with 4 engines...Bigger than a building flying at 600 mph...this came from the inspiration of Wilbur and Orville Wright.......Each engine over 50,000 lb of Thrust......I wish they were here to see this.....I have been in this 747 to London...some don't realize how big this plane really is....Technology, wiring, hydraulics, if I came up with a few Million Dollars I would by one and make it into a house...from the bone yard that is....Keep the flight deck in Tact.....and the APU to run the power...im good to go....LOL that would be Kool...but getting back to the jet Boeing hit a Home Run Here....
