Gary Numan - RIP (Blade Runner remix feat. Vangelis "Tales of The Future" w/ Demis Roussos)
What do you get when you mix composer Vangelis, the singer Demis Roussos, and a dark beat from Gary Numan? Well... you get this :)
The song is a mix between a Vangelis track (Tales from the Future) singed by Demis Roussos for the Blade Runner film, and a beat taken from Gary Numan's R.I.P. song. I like it, it's a little repetitive, but never boring, always engaging :)
Actually, some say it's "Tales of The Future", others say "Tales from The Future". Opinions?
I found this music track in a Blade Runner fan made music CD compilation ("Esper Edition", maybe). I don't even know if Gary Numan actually mixed it, or if it was also a fan, but I read somewhere he likes Blade Runner a lot, so, who knows.

One of my favorite episodes
I really liked the character Mark. A lot of wasted potential.
What a great episode but they should have brought up tubbs baby later on

The first part of this track always had a nicely unsettling quality, and the second part, from The Home Invaders, always rocked too. In fact, the whole episode kind of scared me.

Every friday night was like having a completely unpredictable 1hr feature film waiting for you. Maybe in today's netflix, amazon, streaming world that is something everyone tells themselves is par for the course. But nothing like that simply existed in that day and age. Savagely ground breaking in every meaningful way.
The first two seasons of Miami Vice were amazing.
What i love about miami vice, that melancholic bittersweet ending in some of the episodes.
I know sometimes people joke on Miami vice but the episodes were so good.... Compelling and exhilarating at times...

Unbelievable show has to be best ever there is no doubt close second starsky and hutch but miami vice to me was the show that did it for me i have all the episodes but i tend to not watch them say for four years then go back to them and then its like a whole new series as i forget certain episodes 😊😊😊

Yes it is Pedro its totally amazing. I was lucky enough to go to Miami in 1992 and it was incredible found all the places they had used to film Miami Vice even the pink house they filmed No Exit in with Bruce Willis it was an amazing trip. 😊😊😊😊😊

The begining of U.S getting stronger by having a white and black actor in a hit tv show I live through this times and I know what it meant for everyday tv shows where a black actor was given this type a lead and be successful o got just as many white friends as I do black and what most people also don't know is this is a tv show but this was exactly how miami was during this time I'm from fla great job impressive
Yes. And yet, now is free for all for whites, if they're pictured at all, they have to be either stupid or evil, because "reasons" (racism, actually). This won't bode well, because with current agendas so over the top, the pendulum will swing back again, hard. And it didn't had to.

I actually like many songs from his mid to late 80s period, including Strange Charm ;-). No it may not be the same Gary Numan, but there're many gems of synthpop over there, and besides, one can't be the _"lonely and confused android that wants to be human"_ for that long. Only at Machine & Soul I thought "wtf?". He wanted to be Prince in that one, or something. Not exactly bad pop songs, but they were completely disposable, and he was unrecognizable. Thanks for the input. With all the copyright thing going on, I'm surprised this video still lasts... :D I had others like it that did not.
