As kids we used to run up to the Bush Estate to see the Alvis owners cars all meeting at Bush House just south of Edinburgh in the sixties, they were an amazing sight. Might have been at the same time as the annual Gymkhana, sadly neither events have taken place there in decades.

Having made a documentary, I wonder if I can with your permission use your footage to make a sequel documentary talking about the Fife Heritage Railway please? Would be really helpful if I can use them :)

Whatever possessed Alvis to think there wa a business in making around five cars per week? If Herman Graber had not pulled their chestnuts out of the fire, then car production would have ended ten years before it did.

Nice to watch the real original Alvis racing cars! Many greetings from Germany, now the homeland of so many Alvis "Specials " built on the rolling chassis of old and maybe rotten saloons from the Thirties to create so called "original Alvis racers",which also often take part in numerous historical events! It's a pity those new built cars are accepted to do so ! Times, matching numbers were respected ,are over 😩😭!

I am surprised that (since every car now has five gears) that you can still get Overdrive units, IMO The TD21 was automotive perfection. The additional headlamps of the following models spoils the appearance.
