I have. PRS core model and it doesn’t gel with me at all .I also have a strat style guitar which cost about £250 ,and it sounds great and feels great .

People have said they don’t like the safety location. Why would they put the safety in that location if it’s not a good location in such a high quality gun?

I gotta also say you hit the nail on the head. I’ve built great partscasters, both mim and mij. But none of them hold a candle to my custom shop. It just has a mystique about it, a feel and a mojo- and it feels like it has that celebrity status. I can never believe i’m playing a CS. Love it. A guitar is a guitar but it’s hard to put a value on how much your brain and heart/soul love a guitar - and I love my American guitars more. Sorry/not sorry

I think it’s important to note that 95% of the guitar world is using their locking tuners the wrong way. You should have 0 winds around the post with locking tuners folks! 0 winds. Line the holes straight up and down the fretboard and run the string thru- pull a bit on tension and lock the tuner- then turn it. They mostly will end up being at around a 90 degree angle- 0 winds. If you have winds around the post you effectively don’t have locking tuners anymore. You’ll all be amazed at how good locking tuners are once you start using them right. (Ask me how I know 😂)
