AHRQ Patient Safety
United States
Registrace 27. 11. 2013
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) investigates the ways that patients are harmed, why this harm occurs, and how to prevent it. AHRQ translates the results of this research into practical tools -- such as those shown in these videos -- that can be used in the field to make health care safer.

Atta girl, Val!
He is so great! This happens at last 1 a shift and the story is just a little different:
Good Idk
Good job
Y no se les ocurre hacer un ECG?
So dramatic lol
Such bad ergonomic posture for the staff who have to do this 30x/day. It is sad that these monopoly company don't do anything about fixing this problem. By the end of the day, she will have a horrible achy back from hunching over to do CVC care/tx.
thank you!!
It's very helpful for those who are preparing for oet exam
👍
$31 trillion…😊

In real life another nurse will be waiting on you and upset because you took the time to explain because your wasting her time! In real life this doesn't happen but I wish it did.. this is the reason I got into nursing although I'm not a nurse but I work with nurses. The nurse's have too much to do that the system just doesn't work out

I thought you’re supposed to flush limbs with saline before connecting lines?
you are
These two stories are hard to listen to, and I can't even imagine what she went through. God be with her.
Points are all good but I felt this was dismissive to the health care team's (and ours, as viewers) intelligence. This felt dumb-downed and almost insulting.
THANK YOU SHARON FOR THE SAFETY PERCUSSION IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO DO MEDICAL THINGS SAFELY, SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY IS KING AND QUEEN THANK YOU TO ALL NURSES THAT DO THIS WITH ALL PATINTS AMEN
Thank you for information
Thank you, this is so appreciated. I just started dialysis and this helps to answer so many questions about what is going on with my body. I also wanted to know if the catheter ever moves? Some days it feels like it is larger then normal or maybe i just feel it more.
Really good acting. really put the message across
Why doesn’t this give any rationale
Ventilater pneumonia ventilation rates had no idea this could be checked and deaths could be avoided.

Wow 1:50 was so funny
This was a great example of collaborative teamwork and leadership. Thank you!
Thank you for making this video. The vital pieces of information about Mrs. Smith' s care did not fall in the cracks of a busy day . Information down to top and horizontal went through successfully. the best thing was to see everyone taking part in the care and not just the RN alone. Open communication allowed team members to resolve misunderstanding among them professionally. a great tool indeed.

What a joke. This never happens in reality
Exactly. I am a relatively new nurse but I've worked as a nursing assistant before I became an RN in various settings and I've never seen nurses round with nursing assistants like that and introduce themselves together. This video is basically perfect world/NCLEX setting.
The s is how I do my job, personally; asking questions like this with patients who are able to communicate is invaluable. Prompts.
why'd she unpackage the medication before assessing the patients pain level
Great representation of SBAR, but that overly dramatic soap opera acting is hilarious.
edapt sucks
