Unfortunately the NBA Hall of Fame has always been about inclusivity, when it ought to be about exclusivity. Melo is not a "great" player and his greatest accomplishment remains his college championship. Greatness is about winning and he did not do that at the NBA level. He struggled to barely make the playoffs in his prime with the Nuggets and always seemed more interested in chasing down his next big contract. I liken him to many phenomenal scorers like Marbury, McGrady, Harden, Westbrook. Can't deny their scoring ability but they aren't winners and definitely not franchise carrying material (ie. Winning championship). He definitely doesn't belong in the top 75!
