i just finished listening to the album and let me say, i think this will be a new passion of mine. one of those things that never leaves my mind. ill think about it all the time and ill wonder if there is a deeper meaning that i can discover. karissa i know that you were so scared to take this step, and im here to say it might have really been worth it. at least to me. i was shocked by every word you said and absolutely taken away by each clip. for a moment there, i was in another world. thank you for sharing yourself in such a beautiful art form. my favorites were When Flowers are Pills, Girlhood, and Harbored Knowledge of the Seed People. this was a masterpiece and i cant wait to listen to it again

This one brings up a lot of emotions for me. I remember feeling ashamed and dirty when I first came into “ womanhood “ I was 9 and the only one in my class that was going through it at the time. I know this because I had to explain to my teacher why I needed to be excused from class so often.
