Yeah the company has yet to turn a profit and has been around several years. It’s a bit of a red flag 🚩 when someone IPOs and they can pull a profit….. RDDT of course that doesn’t mean it can’t be profitable but can have the appearance that the company is just selling shares to raise enough money to survive another day. Since people high in the company tend to hold the bulk of the shares when the ipo breaks out they can dump them for huge profits taking up much of the income the company could have used to get its act together sinking any chance there was and dooming the investors that bought it at release. Hence why many investors steer well clear of IPOs

"Market values" of anything are dependent to a certain extent on most recent purchases, not the quantity of them exactly. Like one distress sale in your neighborhood can make your home market value go down at least temporarily, or if someone pays a huge amount for a home near you, it at least temporarily makes your home value go up. The "greater fool theory" "works" for you if you can find any fool that will pay more for what you are selling than what you paid for buying it, even if others won't touch it for the price you want.
