Purchased directly at Blackwidow UK. A very nice 4 to 1 system that greatly enhances the sound, feeling and looks of the z1000sx. Compatible with panniers and now you can actually lubricate your chain.
Painting a BMW s1000xr Desert Sand Yellow

Using the ral 1002 I was able to paint all previous red panels on the bike. A combination between many coats and slight corrections during the progress in order to make sure the quality is there.

Of course it had to be done. Easy tune over at Druijff Racing in the Netherlands, limits removed, power increased and most importantly the fuel map adjusted! Drives like an absolute charm after and is definitely recommended for anyone on the S1000 platform or for any bike in general.

Removing the exhaust seemed easy on this BMW but I was mistaken, took me a solid day in the end and some new tools. But it is done! Sounds great but could use a little more help on that fuel to air mixture!

Easy maintenance on this Suzuki, went over all the filters, fluids and electronics. Breaks were also serviced together with additional gadgets. The bike will also receive a paint job and protection upgrade in the near future!

In this video I removed the catalytic unit from my motorbike, I chose to do this because of the excessive heat it creates. I did put the silencers back into the pipe, otherwise its really loud. Thanks for watching!

I wouldve Passed on the moly oil Additive .. its No good for the motor or even needed. Ok did the motul 7100 cause the clutch to slip
@@sabs1970 since this oil change the bike has ran another 15000km without issue. Very smooth gearing and power delivery. In this time 2 more oil changes have been done using Liqui Moly motorbike oil. The bike seems to be running slightly better on this compared to motul

@@teddydahlqvist9182 my bike got tuned by a tuner on a dyno. In my opinion a lot better than the commander. Best seek a good tuner for optimal result.

Yes, the big box is the cat. You have to cut at a specific distance. Dominator provides instructions for this

I just love getting power armor
I just bought myself the red 2016 version of this bike...you made everything look dead simple
The thing I dislike the most about this bike are the panels. They are placed with very little space and with the side panel removal it’s especially easy to scratch other parts. Other then that it’s a pleasant bike to work on as with most Japanese bikes, things make sense and work as they should. Remember to replace the fuel filter, often overlooked by dealers.
I have actually just ordered one ready for my first service but I know that the bike has just had the fluids changed so that won't need doing for a while however I do plan on swapping out the fuel filter this weekend

Nice video man! Question, I need to change the valve cover gasket on mine, do you know if I can get to it from the top by removing the tank and what below it, or will I need to drop the engine from the bike?
It’s possible to do this with the engine mounted, best you look up the original service manual of your bike for the right handling.

First question, why not undo the oilfilter from the other side? 2nd question, why not cover the exhaust manifold from oil? Isn't it easier to clean then? And a good quality oil like yours, has a lot of additives in there. I would not reccomend it.
Yes, other side was definitely possible to. For sure to cover the exhaust keeps it clean but due to the cramped space I just clean it with brake cleaner afterwards instead. The oil is definitely good quality, but to be sure of proper lubrication after such a long time I opted for an additive. In the next change this was no longer added.
Hey buddy I'm commenting again from the previous 1999 ZX6R video just in case you might've not read it. I asked about if you've still got this bike, and if you could do any follow up videos on it? I've owned the same one for a few months now as a project bike and had turned it around to be a very good bike. I just wanted to know what were your experiences were with it and what I could expect in the long run as an all season rider on it.

Unfortunately the oil pump gave up a couple months after due to overheating.
@@Bikerrep That's really unfortunate, did you lose all motivation to get it fixed or was it far too much labour than what it was worth?
@@AndyBop The bike was no longer of value for this fix, too many unknown of what damage was done in the engine.

When you removed the calipers, did you let the brake fluid drain completely out, and have to replace and bleed an empty system?
Yes for a rebuild you remove all fluids, afterwards you use new brake fluid to flush the system and remove any air. If you disconnect the callipers you always have to bleed the system again.

Looks like they intentionally made that mod a royal pain in the ass. So crazy how much stuff needs to be taken apart just to drop the exhaust and then when you the center stand bites you. Enjoy that sound of freedom!

hello Do you remember maybe, was the smaller pipe (which enter to the bigger pipe) on the end of DCAT,welded and taped inside of the bigger pipe? Just right on the joint but from inside. Or was is free flow? Thank you and regards

Thanks! Yes it’s recommended to flash the ECU for full potential. Without is also possible

I use 20W-50 Racing Oil on mine if that helps

This mod is not illegal in the UK. Oliver, those header nuts are stock hardened brass, not copper. The reason BMW use them is to ensure that they don't corrode over time, and make removal with a socket impossible, also brass is less likely to seize onto the header studs.
Done mine this time last year. Needed a remap after though. PC and re-map its loud, silky smooth and I love it.

I would like to do the same job as you, but they say that without remapping the ECU the bike will be worse
Any mod to intake or exhaust is only utilised by remap ECU, otherwise it could have no or slightly worse effect.
You should of removed the Restrictor plate on the airbox lol
