most people haven't noticed that the smoke from Muzan's walk is indeed him being burned by Wisteria flowers and just... not caring LOL so good job for noticing that! i don't know if you remember how much wisteria is around the Demon Slayer HQ, but its a LOT anywho, Muzan knew that regardless of whatever plan Ubuyashiki had for him- the Hashira HAD to get involved and try to attack him at once. so he was never planning on fighting to the end there, even if he could. with one move, Muzan has made this fight go from winnable, to 1% chance of victory these movies are gonna be rough....

The final scene on the moon is the only real one in the film, and this scene sets the whole picture together of all what happened: after Naomi successfully dived into the ALLTALE system to save Ruri she woke up from her coma but he fell into coma himself because he was unable to "log out" of the ALLTALE system again. and now the roles switched - Ruri spent the following years to save him. And there are some cute details about that: At the bginning, Ruri has trouble to handle a normal cell phone, but then she becomes a scientist. And at the beginning, she fell from a ladder becuase of aerophobia, but now she travels to the moon to save her boy <3

Hodoka doesn't have a place to go because either he is being abused by his parents or he is being bullied at school and his parents don't care. That's why he doesn't want to go back no matter what. You can see during the flashbacks when he was chasing the light on his bike, he has bruises on his face and during the first scene he has a bandage on his face.
