We usually use the zman ones but we don’t always use an actual zman lure on the back. When it comes to spinner baits I think I prefer the strike king or redfish magic ones cause they have less of a tendency to climb up the water column. Let me know if you have any other questions. Wow that’s awesome man, congratulations! I use a lot of 3-4 inch paddle tails and flukes when it comes to soft plastics. The Omen Split Tail Finesser is probably my go to year round. It is essentially a smaller fluke profile. I would throw baits around flooded grass lines that have some structure nearby or deeper drop offs close to them. Fish should still be in some of the larger creek systems along the banks and bars but for the most part fish are transitioned to outer shorelines and points right about now. If your fishing more of the flats towards cedar key area I would suggest checking the shallow flats / islands for reds. As the tide pushes out the reds will just move further and further off their high tide spots. Topwater should also be very effective with the weather we are having this week. 😂 sometimes they just like to be difficult man! I would say throw some 3-5 inch soft plastic jerk baits and paddle tails while covering high likelihood areas for early spring. Creak mouths, grass lines, oyster bars, and shallow flats that have structure or land nearby. Topwater is also coming into play as we get warmer days!
