I know you did this years ago and I'm just now seeing it, but I'm ever so thankful to have come across yours so I'm able to learn this technique correctly and hopefully have my locs, that I have yet to do, look meticulous like yours....AND YOURS DO!! Seriously, THANK YOU for doing such a fantastic job zooming in when you were showing each step...so many tutorials are zoomed out so far you can't see exactly what to do, you know what I mean? Thank you also for covering so many questions that one has when they've never done these before. Giiiiirl, you were all around just the best...GREAT JOB! Wish me luck; I have about three inches of Caucasian hair to work with so this might get interesting....or it might end up I use the yarn for a scarf when I give up....one of the two will happen, and I'm hoping thanks to you, it will be the former lol! 7years later and this is really helpful thank you!!! ☺️💜 Always was intrigued by dreadlocks but never really wanted to commit to it. I'll add some 100% acrylic yarn colorful ones to the under layer of my hair 🙏🏻 can't wait!!

Wool is fine for your hair not to mention it is anti microbial and anti bacterial so no mold. It is soft no itch.

So question, I just put instant locs in my twins hair but their hair is soooo short and the locs are even too short to put a cute style in to make it looks decent because they're sticking up all over the place so can I just add these yarn dread over them and keep redoing them every so often as their hair grows to a decent length?
