We had the joy of capturing Megan and Josh's romantic wedding proposal at Marine Park, right on the beautiful Navesink River in Red Bank, NJ. Using our Nikon Z9, we documented every heartfelt moment of this unforgettable day, which ended with a perfect champagne toast by the water. As a 2nd generation photography studio based in Red Bank, it was extra special to capture this local love story at such a picturesque location.

Just to mention that there's a workaround for the battery if you buy the power grip as it uses AA cells. I have 3 of the cameras plus a lot of the lenses - one of mine is permanently attached to a digital back (Hasselblad Ixpress 528C), used exclusively for ultra-high quality imaging with each piccie being up to 528Mb in size. Just the sound of that shutter was enough to persuade me to buy one back in the day - and not many medium format cameras had a 1/4000s top speed then. The only issue today is spares and servicing...always tricky with a redundant system. And that f2 Planar is one of the finest lenses ever made for a medium format camera. Don't forget that today, you can use that C645 Zeiss glass on the awesome Fuji GFX cameras with a Fringer AF adapter.
That’s awesome. I totally forgot about the grip. Does it make the camera much bigger and heavier? I wouldn’t mind trying it with a digital back. I shoot weddings though so size and weight is an issue.

Thank you for your video! How are you liking your Simplr strap a year in? Do y'all ever actually use the wrist strap mode out on the go - and if so, is it faster/easier than it looks on the first attempt here? Also, I noticed the nylon looks a bit more coarse than, say, Peak Design straps. Do you think it would cause a sweater to pill rubbing against it on hikes?
I'm so glad you liked the video. I absolutely LOVE these straps! I have one for almost EVERY camera I own & I use the big heavy Hasselblad 500 system! We just got back from hiking in Sedona. We did many hikes and I had 2 cameras around my neck & they were comfortable all day. I use the wrist strap option all the time & it's fast & easy. That was my main reason for choosing these over the Peak Design.

ilford xp film is my favorite film to work with. used to buy it because it was the cheapest black and white film available back in the 90s and the quality was always fantastic
yeah, I think I started using it when I was working in a camera store in the 90s. We were a one hour photo & I would be able to run B&W through the C41 minilab.

How did you like the Ilford XP2? I don't really like it as much. I keep having issues after I develop it. I've seen others have great results though. Cool video.
Yeah, It's not HP5 or Tri-X but it's kind of fun. I haven't used it in like 15 years. it wasn't terrible. I didn't develop it myself.
You are rough with your Equipment
I've been a wedding photographer since I was 13. We are not known to be easy on gear. Luckily this Hasselblad 500 series is built like an M1 Abrams.
True they are but that special addition isn’t easily replaced!!!
If you baby your gear you are probably not pushing yourself. YMMV.

Amusement parks are good. A snow-capped amusement park is fantastic! Always so frustrating for me to see a photographer walk past shots I would have made!! Thanks for the good show.
yeah it was a blast. It was definitely different than I had ever see this amusement park. It's my first time ever doing a video like this & I kept forgetting to film what I was photographing.
