Thank you!
Dude I wish you did nova videos every day!!
this is for sure a great channel and beautiful videos.... SUBBED and LIKED , a fellow creator.
Go blow your nose.
Ok got it
So I need to by 70 camaro shocks now basically
Yes sir that’s what I did they clear perfectly
Weird. My 72 (with multi leafs) shock plates look totally different. They have one tab that bends down with a single hole. *edit okay the ones you took off were mono leaf plates*
No mine were original multi leaf. They are the same as a mono leaf. Someone switched your plates only the camaro have the single hole .
@@rodwilliams68 you are correct the multi leaf I believe would still contact the rim from the looks of them. Thanks for the info though.
@@rpmfreak676 They do contact the rim if you go too wide.
When you get your Caltracs you’ll solve that problem.
My problem is solved I didn’t have to spend 400 bucks either 😂😂😂
Nice car keep up the good work
Looks good nice work
Very helpful as I'm doing this on a 72. Thanks
Nice
A great tip! Thanks!
I just subscribed when i herd you say you used camaro parts on the nova,i tell my girl thats how real hot rodders use to do it before you can pull up to summit and order what you want,i gave it a like too lol

@@rpmfreak676 i got only have two and im already do it,cant imagine with four lol
I have a 76 nova and im on my third time bringing her back to life
Good video man very informative!
Thanks for the post, very informative! I have noticed my right side is rubbing with stock Nova shock plates with 15"x8" Chevy Rally rims.
Thanks for the Tech Tip helpful, and Keep'em coming Tip's like This One without Butchering Nova's All Them Up !!!
what rear sway bar are you using
Sorry I’m not sure it was on the car when I purchased it.
Cocaine problem?
Robert Touchstone naw asthma and bad allergies I told my wife that's what I sounded like lol.
Good info! Are you going to upload any videos of your ride?
Yes sir just getting back to work had knee replaced in December
I ran 28x 12.5 x15 M/T ET Streets on my 72 Nova and my 75 nova. Both with Chevy 12 bolt rear end spool and 4:30 gears on the street never had an issue with rubbing when turning never had to roll the fender either. Tight fit but worked great and hooked up awesome. But I used C/E j bolt traction bars also which had the shock mounts Incorporated into the traction bars. Nice work 👍
That's exactly what I was thinking of doing to my 74 nova. Thanks for posting. What size tire do you think you'll be able to go to now? I'd like to run a 255 60r15 myself, wonder with the changes you've done if a 275 would fit?
I also have a video of my car on here also under kooljo
Hey man good information I’m building a 1974 Chevy nova. An would like some help with it.
Kool Jo just drop me a line I can help if I can
Nice set up. I'm dealing with the same issue but I'm running a 5.5 backing space. I lowered it 4 inches in the rear but I have to use a shock relocation kit since I'm running disc brakes in the rear. If I had drums i would definitely try the different plate. Idk unless I stagger my disc brakes. 🤔
Nice car ! I have a 71Nova 350 4 speed, and im interested in your sway bar setup , where did you buy it and do you like it ? Im from Arkansas myself GO HOGS !
It was on the car when I bought it. It works ok I guess I don't race or anything. Just trying to build a street beast. Lol where in AR are you.
rpm freak I live in the Russellville area near I 40, and i run those same tags buy em once and your done , Gotta love it .
I'm around the corner from you in conway
I can sell you that sway bar set up if you want it.
Excellent looking work, thanks for sharing. I've got a 71 Nova that someone installed a really good Ford 9 inch rear end in, they just did a poor job installing it.
