I really like the idea of a pen made for sample bottles and so far it’s writing beautifully.

You are so correct I have no idea why I did that! Sometimes I think my brain only half functions when I'm talking. Thanks for pointing it out and sorry for my mistake.

I found that after I did the video :) I agree much more excited about the pen case, it's beautiful. Was your pen case also blue or did you get a different color? As for the pen so far the writing is ok not my favorite pen but not horrible either if that makes sense. Maybe I need to use it a bit more or try some different inks in it.

I agree I try really had to figure it out and usually I can but this box I just don't know. It's still a good value I'm just confused. Usually with the cost it is for sure the max price they can sell something for but it still doesn't add up but maybe I'm missing something. I should send a pm to goldspot as see what they say.

Thank you...It turned into one of my favorite spreads I've done this year which surprised me.

I got one after this as a gift from the company and the inks had the brands on them. I got July's as well...came last night so I haven't opened it but I'm hopeful it was a lasting change. I really do think this is a fun idea. I do love the pen still even with it's stains...it adds character or so I'm telling my self.

I love this so much! I'm so happy you got one as well. The Juno is also on my wish list though the new Pilot Vanishing Point (Seashore) is at the top of that list so it might need to wait a bit but really for the price these pens are amazing and I just love all my Benus.

I think it was a good experiment even if it didn't come out quite the way I envisioned. I need to try a few more things with this ink... I thnk I could use it to do clouds by painting with it...clouds shouldn't be that hard right lol :) Thank you for always commenting and being so sweet.

That's so amazing!!! You've got this! Thank you for all the kind words, I'm really enjoying the goal setting right now, I think it's helping me see that I am accomplishing things which I think we all need to see. It also forces me to slow down and really look at life and not just go through the motions. I am on the mend :) and so grateful to all the dr and my family for the support they have given me. It's a journey and I don't know where it will lead but it helps to realize where I was coming from. Feel free to reach out if you need support :)

Thank you, I am so glad it's helpful. Spicy families are the best family...we know we are a bit weird but I keep telling them all weird is just a side effect of awesome. Setting goals tailored to our own challenges is the only way to make goals happen here. Its a lot of work some weeks but the payoff is so huge. What type of spice does your family have?

@@Adventuresover40 I’ll do a video trying different fountain pens but so far (mind you that’s all of two days) I haven’t had any issues. Both days I’ve written have been with a fine tip so I’ll have to get back to you on a medium nib on this paper. I did also try doing some ink splotching / swatching on the days journaled and didn’t see anything of note other than wearinguels Wendy is really pretty when you do that lol. I totally agree with the expense is really high, I’ve heard there are some other brands that are similar but cheaper but I need to do research to find the names. - maybe a future project. Honestly I only have two besides the ones I got in the box and those were both gifts from a dear friend.

So far I'm really loving!! It really does feel like the perfect size pen for me, with the right amount of pizazz to fit my shimmer ink addiction.

I love it!! I just ordered my first Benu (a talisman) and am so excited about it!

How did you like the pen show? I've debated trying to attend one. Ohh the green one is beautiful as well! Ok they all are...I also considered Juno but wasn't sure I was that much of a pink girl. :)

@@MyMagicalPlanner they all are definitely beautiful for sure. If I had the money I would have bought a few lol. The pen show was wonderful. It was my third one. I’ve met many pen friends and creators. I’d recommend going.

Agree there is just something so fun about playing with new inks. I umm may have sorta placed a new order for samples today. They came out with new inks and I just want to try them all 😂

@@MyMagicalPlanner I like the samples that Goulet pens has (they have ones like Sailor that others don't) but Ive been getting mine from Vanness because not only do they have a huge selection but you get a larger sample size. I am excited to see the new inks you are getting. Probably my favorite kind of video to watch. 😊

@@Adventuresover40 oh I’ve order at least once from them. They have some inks that goulet doesn’t carry and yes the samples being bigger are nice especially if you’re filling without a syringe….i really struggled filling a few pins this month, see todays video :) I’m excited for the new inks too :)

They are the best and make me not feel guilty if I want to switch each month and try something new :) do you have a favorite ink you have tried?

@@MyMagicalPlanner I"m new to this hobby as of February but have dove in cannonball style. I'm exploring inks now so my favorite inks may need to be taken with a grain of salt. So far: Diamine Masquerade; Birmingham's ploughman's pebble; Wearingeul Mad Hatter; J. Herbin Bleu Myostis; Sailor Kitsune Biyori; Colorverse A PSC. Muted colors (but not light) I would say. How about you?

@@Journalesq I think Canon Ball is how we all start lol, I've only been at this a little over a year I think. I'm writing down those inks to add to ones to try :) So far my favorite inks have been: Diamine Jack Frost (it smears easy but flow and color are so beautiful), Coververse Tar Heel, Robert Oster Pink Squirrel, Wearingul Caption Hook and Tic Toc Crock, and the newest to the list is Colorverse Witch by Starlight and probably storied blue but I just started using them both this month. I keep wanting to love Ferris Wheel Press inks but they just don't perform for me as well as other inks for the most part...maybe I'm not pairing them with the right pens.
