Dear Maestro, I went to my score library to find this composition after hearing your wonderful rendition. I did not find any piece by Marco Dall'Aquila under the name 'Ricercar 11.' However, I found this composition labeled as 'Ricercar 9.'
I’m using here the numbering by the Lute Society edition of complete Dall’Aquila works. ;)

Are your strings gut or nylon? Or something else?
2 basses (red ones) are Aquila CD. Chanterelle is nylgut, Other are gut.
@@luthval May I ask why you prefer the chanterelle to be nylgut instead of gut? Is it a cost reason or mantinance maybe?
Chanterelle in gut sounds better but last just a few days. So it is ok for concert or recording sessions, but for playing at home nylgut is ok.
@@luthval That makes sense, I have always heard that pure gut is quite finicky.

Bonjour Valérie. Deux questions, Kaspsberger utilisait il la tablature française ou italienne ? Et, écrivait il pour un luth à 7 cœurs ?
Il utilisait la tablature Italienne. Ses livres sont pour luth à 10 choeurs et pour théorbe (aussi appelé Chitaronne en Italie). Mais dans les pièces pour luth, beaucoup ne demandent pas les 10 choeurs, mais 7 ou 8 suffisent souvent. J'en ai joué beaucoup sur un luth à 8 choeurs.

Love this piece, and this book. I always mention to my listeners how history almost lost the Gdansk/Danzig book and how recently rediscovered it was and it always gives me goosebumps. I am so happy to hear other lutenists enjoying the music as much as me!
