My first WoW encounter: WoTLK in a cyber cafe, PC shop. 2005. Everybody was in their Priston Tale, Metin 2, Perfect World mania. Then Azeroth spawned, and it was over. Every PC screen was filled with Death Knights roaming all around. After that playthrough, it was time for my second encounter, right after or before Cataclysm, down into Mists of Pandaria. To me, it was the Golden Age of WoW. Reason being, everyone was happy there. Enjoyment, before that garrison bullshit, high level meta pay to win. 2011, I think. Man. What a time it was to play this game. I wish Blizzard would push this game forward without altering the engine, I mean, just improving the game roleplaying wise, allowing professions to take a bigger dive in the economy system, making it easier to pay for the monthly subscription, some other faster mounts maybe even in lower levels, walking and riding on the 20/40lvl mounts takes just a lot of time. Go back to basics. What earned the hearts of players? Think of Warcraft II and II, the origins. It was purely Lordaeron, Human vs. Orcs and all the Scourge, Undead themes. I would launch a expansion with more feats regarding RPG systems. ''Back to Lordaeron''. When you played vanilla, what mattered were items and small numbers. Sometimes I would identify what some Game Masters were wearing, in rarely cases you would find some dude wearing Glaives of Azzinoth. Man. Nowadays, everybody is OP at a duel, at a PVP encounter. Back in the day it was way more balanced. A dude would only be off the charts if he had the loot. May be due to the amount of spells and rotations and talents bullshit ass. They should reduce a little, keep it simple and minimal. Anyways. That was my WoW essay LOL. The nostalgia found a critical strike, and off I went.
