My Breisch model has the spark plug threaded into the block, not the head. Is mine newer than the model in the video and are there other options?

I followed this and got a yellow window with "lower thread detection" with a red X on the left in that window.

What spark plug do you use? I just bought one and it has a large gapless plug like a marine plug, and its threaded deaper than the other model engine plugs ive seen

Be sure to unplug the pedal foot. I spent way too long figuring that out

Is there a way of knowing when the last maintenance was done on the machine?

I know this video is old, but my wife has purchased a second hand bernina artista 180. When she trys to pick up the bobbin cotton it snaps the needle. She's cleaned all the old lint out of it etc, but to no joy. We took a close look, the needle goes the the hook thing then starts to bend the needle, if we carry on turning it snaps the needle. Is the timing out, or are we missing something?. Thanks

Hi Jeff, I've had nothing but trouble with threading issues on my 830. I was so frustrated I started fanaticizing about tossing my Bernina into my swimming pool. I just watched another video on the subject of threading and she said the thread goes on the backside of that little tension tab on the top of the machine rather than in front of it. Now I don't know which one way is right and which is wrong. I'll try her way and see if I have better luck but I wanted to ask you if you could offer some clarity.

Got a 730 for a couple hundred bucks. The embroidery element was missing, but the letters and some other design elements are still workable. I just do not have the frame. So… is there a workaround when the hoop and the hoop older is missing?

My 180 reverse button does not start the embroidery unit. It will reverse when sewing. I can start the embroidery from the foot pedal so I know it is set up correctly. Is there a way to test?

I was gifted a 440 and the first thing I did was check the hours to see what service it might need. It has 40 hours total, and 1 hour of working. It is still brand new!!

I fixed my handle with baking soda and super glue and then I sanded it down real nice and painted it. It looks nice.

How do I take my 170 apart to check my sewing machine is there a book that I can get that would walk me though the steps to maintain my machine

Hope you can offer a solution. My machine has just come back from its 5th trip to the dealer in 2 years which has been very costly. .I thread the machine using my automatic threader but the machine reverts to this threading screen, needle down and threading icon lit even though I have successfully treaded the needle. I repeat the threading but the threading screen returns straight away so unable to sew or embroider? Its in threading mode all the time

My husband bought a year or more ago a bernina from you through EBay and didn’t come with the module. I am learning now how to use it. I order a module through eBay hope I c as n use it.
